I stopped collecting the non-sports stuff about 8 years ago, except I snagged a RoboCop and a Terminator. I still collect the Detroit teams SportPicks though. I believe the downfall has alot to do with what some have said in earlier posts, the licenses they have obtained the last few years have been sorely lacking.

I still collect Sportspicks, but I don't chase after variants/chase figures from the company like I used to. I only collect players from my favorite local sports teams (Red Sox/Patriots) and thats it. Sad thing is that I have all those on a shelf in my closet, while my Sideshow stuff is out and on display in the same room in a glass display case.
I thought about getting out but McFarlanes Figs don't go for what they used to be, so it's really not worth it. I find it hilarious when I see people spending gobs of money on these things on the internet when they are brand new. A few months down the line the values on those same figs plummet, but the same collectors feed into the neverending cycle.
