not sure if you've read Batman: White Knight - the bats version looks pretty close to Sean Murphy's drawings, ditto on Azreal. The Joker, though, was missing some of the style that sold it in the books. What would have been awesome is Neo Joker, or even the version of Clayface that shows up.

I picked up Arkham Asylum Batman this week and he's surprisingly good for this line. He still has some strange design choices, but he's probably my favorite DC figure McFarlane has made.

The way they painted the eyes bothered me a ton, so I tried my hand at painting around them, which was nerve-wracking to say the least. I added some battle damage too, specifically based on how he appeared at the end of Asylum. I just need to add the explosive gel gauntlet damage - maybe some weathering on the suit too.

I haven't repainted/modded anything this much before, but I think I'm pretty happy with how he turned out.

Let's wait and see. During Toy Fair McFarlane Toys acknowledge that the scale was off and will make sure the future characters will be in scale.
So far, only Batgirl has a scale issue.

What sucks is that I heard Todd outright said these would be 6", and a direct continuation of Mattel's Multiverse line.

It's a shame most of the talent at McFarlane left for NECA. With Tye mentioning clashing with Todd about articulation in that interview, I can see why.
