Once upon a time, McFarlane was known for the best likenesses in the business.

That was a long time ago.

I'm very disappointed. Nothing about that figure indicates it's based on Michael Keaton, or any real live actual person. Just looks like a comic book Batman.

The botched canopy on the Batmobile is too egregious for me to excuse. It looks like a character from Pixar's "Cars".
McFarlane‘s movie line was legendary back in the day.

I don’t hate it, but am I the only one who sees the Arkham Knight Batman in the face?

Yikes. McFarlane didn’t even try with that thing.

35 years worth of Batmobile reference and product and that’s the best they could come up with? Looks like a mock up.

SPINMASTERS will be getting my money,

I’m indifferent at best about this Batman and Batmobile but I will probably still get this just because it seems so well done.

I thought the picture on the right was edited to look more blue and grey and I would say this proves it, except that both McFarlane and Warner Bros could totally be wrong. I wonder if McFarlane based this on a photo of the real costume which was just black and then WB said “this movie is too dark” and changed Batman’s suit in post.

Omg 35in wing span ordered. I grabbed the batwing Batmobile and a couple keatons spent wayy too much today 😆

Pre-ordered the Batmobile from McFarlane's store. $60 + tax and shipping. With the coupon MTS10 code, the total was $$73 and change. Worth it for the first Batmobile at the 7 inch scale. Canopy does not bother me in the slightest.

I like the Spin Master versions, but they look close to the Dark Knight Collection vehicle I already have. The deluxe is nice, but the standard lacks the quality of toys from the 90s...

That $60 tag is making me laugh at Hasbro asking $350 for a 6” scale Ghost Rider car.

I have to say, the Spinmaster deluxe version is very tempting. It's smaller, but it has lights, sounds, guns, smoke effect, a display base that spins, and the car actually runs with a remote control. It's like an updated version of the Kenner batmobile.

The new “Batfleck” figure looks terrible. I’d be willing to bet they based it on his stunt double.

Also looks like what they did with the Batterson figure last year where they have made it in all black and have not even tried to get the body shape screen accurate.

Spinmasters 12 inch figure is looking the best overall Keaton figure followed by the McFarlane at this stage.

The worst part is the fins are separate pieces that leave a clear seem/gap when attached. That destroys the entire contour and design of the Batmobile. Something we won't be able to ignore when looking at this.

I feared McFarlane's Batmobile wouldn't be the best quality after what they did with the '66 Batmobile a couple of years ago. It was under-scaled and cheaply made and really not worth even buying for $30. Vehicles isn't McFarlane's game when it's clear they are making kids' toys priced for the mass market big box stores. For $70 this is what it is and will be an acceptable purchase, but it is cheap and very toy-like, as if made for kids rather than a reasonably high end collectible.
