anybody know when deluxe glenn hits shelves?

I'd assume in the fall like all of the others have been (1 a year with a bloody version coming out about 18 months later in the late winter/early spring). Still not happy with him as the choice for the 4th figure. I think a Governor would have been better as I imagine Negan will be next.

The 10" line is just what the 7" line is going to be, but slightly bigger. Yeah, nobody was going to want articulated 5" figures when they could choose between 7" or 10" statues! :lol Great choice McFarlane! "Lets have two nearly identical lines in negligible size differences! Instead of axing the 3-figure line just slightly bigger than this new line we want to start, lets cancel the 50+figure line and start over!"

thanks buttmunch for the info :duff i wonder what his other pose will be? agreed, I'd like the Gov too, I can see the next release being Maggy however.

did they really cancel their 50+figure line? that's horrible if so. sorry in advance, new to thread /mcfarlane stuff.

Yeah, they canceled the 5" line for the TV figures, but the comic line will still be 5". The new 7" line is supposed to replace the 5" line now, but its really not that much different than the 10" ones.

Not sure if Glenn will get a second pose. Daryl didn't, just Rick and Michonne so far - and those were just simple arm swaps. Based on Glenn's shooting pose, I can't imagine any other pose they could get out of it. Maggie would be a good choice to go with Glenn, as would Carl with Rick and Michonne. I still think the Governor or Negan would have better selling power though as villains tend to sell well and those two are certainly big, recognizable names.

They should have just stuck with the 5" line (obviously :lol). Then instead of the 7" line.... just expand upon the 10" line. I have Rick, Michonne, Daryl and would continue to buy new characters if this route was taken. I agree that the Governor and Negan would sell well in the 10" line. More so than Glenn. I think these 10" line figures work good with iconic poses. Daryl with the crossbow, Michonne swinging the sword, Rick with his Python... all poses that we have seen in the TV show.

A 10" Comic Negan like this....

or the Governor like this

latest

would be much better choices than Glenn.

These could be another pose choices for the Governor:

Or with Michonne's sword.

Oooor this classic:

But yeah, the most baffling part is the 10" and 7" lines are so similar on their design concept it really doesn't make sense that they kept both of them and dump the 5" line which was vastly different because of the increased articulation. You just can't understand crazy :lol

Forgot about the hands up :lol Yeah, so many different options for The Governor. I just really hope the 7" line fails. If stores really wanted the packaging and increase in price, McFarlane should just have changed the packaging, added more accessories, and maybe create a build a figure to compensate for the higher prices. So many different options could have been discussed instead of just ending a popular line. As you said, it makes no sense to keep both the 10" and 7".

Funny thing is, with the $18 price point, TRU was already there for the 5" line with this final wave. A BAW (or Build a Walker) could have been a great concept, especially since they claim the zombies don't sell well - ironic when they were starting 50/50 with zombies and humans and even 3/2 by wave 2. Head, torso, arms, legs gives you anywhere from 4-7 figures to collect depending on how they would have divided those parts up.

I like the sizing of the 7" line better than the 10" line because its the standard, classic McFarlane size so I would have preferred the 10" line end and just 5" and 7" lines going forward, but alas, it is what it is. Hopefully Todd gets mauled at SDCC by 5" fans. Skybound or AMC or retailer exclusives would be fine at this point if it made something was getting made. The lack of a Jesus or Negan is a real blow to the line, not to mention Rosita and other notable old cast members they haven't done. I mean, why has nobody come with a pack-in Judith yet!?! :lol

I had a 20% off coupon to use at toys r us so I finally picked up the vigilante Rick and I'm so happy I did. I think it's a great figure and goes well with Michonne. I like it better then version one that came out a while back. Pic below. I cannot what for Glenn to come out the 10 inch line rules.

.

My toysrus has yet to get the final wave in. Been checking every truck day. Just going to end up buying them online. It is funny because the zombies were always strong sellers in the first few waves (at least around me). Some of the eBay prices on those are a bit high. Then with later waves like the riot gear walkers, flu walker, mud walker, bungee walker.... I still can find the last three options in varying stores :lol

I think I like the 10" line better than the 7" scaling. I have all my Walking Dead stuff on one long shelf. Seasons 4/5/6 figures on the left, 10" figures in the middle, and seasons 1/2/3 figures on the right. With that setup, the 10" figures look like statues with the smaller 5" figures. Personally, I am glad that they at least kept the 10" line. It will be nice to see what comes of it.... I just don't think I can bring myself to ever purchase one..... A Governor or Negan might sway me :lol

Speaking of characters not done...... just a huge list.

Lori and Judith stick out the most to me. I really don't understand why they were not made. They make Gareth..... Gareth.... then they just pass on two main characters..... really odd.

Jesus
Heath
Denise
Sasha
Gabriel
Eugene without the military stuff on (he wore that like one episode)
Tara
Aaron
Sophie
Duane
Updated Shane
Edwin, Otis, the prison guys, Woodbury residents, Noah, Nicholas, Hilltop residents

The line has so many options to continue forward and so many characters we didn't get.... granted some might not have sold..... but even a one episode character like Eastman who seems to be universally liked would sell :lol

Do you know if exist KOs of comic series? Just bought Andrea from amazon.es for about 16€ ($17-18), didnt find anything on internet.

I don't think so, and aside from Rick you can get Comic Series 3 at pretty good prices (I actually just picked up Andrea for $18) so I wouldn't worry at all.

has anyone ordered from clarkstoys? website just looks to mehh for me to trust. haha

They are legit. If you want another option try Bigboystoyz. Also, the entire wave is currently available on Amazon with Prime shipping at 16.99 each

Got the final wave of TV figures yesterday. Fantastic wave! All the figures turned out fantastic. The pegs for Beth's accessories is a bit odd, but it works. The zombie is beautifully disgusting and T-Dog was a much over due figure to complete that Prison clearing group. I really, really hope this isn't the last TV figures we get (I know the new Bike Daryl is coming, but its just another Daryl at this point, nothing earth shattering).
