I like this.

Which body did you end up using?

Re: Medi + DX = Medix

Everything else is spot on, amazing job.
Hmmm....the head shape looks weird though.
Is it the angle or the way the head is stuffed but the shaped of the head looks off?
Every pic that you posted so far, I dont know if its the angle but I'm getting an odd shape from the cowl. maybe too much stuffing around the jaw area?
Kinda got a subtle peanut shaped head.

Should have a smoother shape on the sides of the cowl.
Everything else looks incredible.

In comparison to Thrust's, see how the sides of the cowl has a smoother shape.

Re: Medi + DX = Medix

This thread makes me sad, the body on almost all of these pics looks better to me than the upcoming DX12 the only one I'm likely to own :(

Re: Medi + DX = Medix

yep seb made that one.. i'm trying to find step by step to swap the top part of the body of a dx02 to the medi. Still a little bit scared of doing it. anyone wanna help?

Re: Medi + DX = Medix

not to take anything away from these great customizers who have made these great batman figures but I get great joy seeing my capes on all these figures

Re: Medi + DX = Medix

Just picked up the final pieces to join the fun. Really contemplating going with the bodysuit look from the DC Direct "Fatman" route and glued armor. I just finished breaking it down and sewing up the limbs around the bodysuit to fit the TT Slim. Just need to pick who to stab with an exacto first.

I think this an absolutely great custom cause there can be so many variants of how each person chooses to mix and matching these two pieces.

With the bodysuit and cut armor pieces, medi head, lance cape and dx/medi "best of" mods this figure is going to hold up extremely well against whatever the final DX12 pops out looking like for sure.

Yupp, definitely.

Only thing I'd say is that some of the armour pieces on the DX12 are more accurate than any figure has had before, so the ultimate version once the DX12 comes out will probably consist of a mash-up of DX02/Medi/DX12 with mesh suit and glued armour parts :lol

It really never ends :lol :yess:

As long as it doesn't leak and fall apart I would be happy w DX12 + Medi modded Cowl/head
Curious what part of DX02 would you take ?

:borg

Re: Medi + DX = Medix

I was asked for a photo on the suit.

Well it's pretty easy, "We Kill the Fatman....."

After pulling apart the armor pieces on the DCD the body suit was in rough shape. There was like glue and residue on the zipper seam. So I ripped the old zipper seam away and sewed a entire new seam to tightly fit into a TT body. I am going with the Black DX02 bats body right now, with mods to the midsection and thighs. Then I measured out the arm and leg lengths stitched a hold seam and cut the edges. Still need to clean the neck up with some lycra but this was a really easy base suit to make and it is a decent material. Testing out glues this weekend......

Re: Medi + DX = Medix

Did the amour glue straight to that or is there another layer?

Straight onto the material. Loctite has a special multiuse glue that is good with fabrics and soft rubber. You just need to take your time, I bought small rubber bands and am applying glue setting the piece and letting the rubber band hold in place to get good surface contact.

That sounds like way too much work. :lol I'm going the Thrustmaster Medix route.

On a side note I'm glad I breathed new life into this thread.
