Keep in mind, HLJ lets you cancel. Amiami does not.

Finally started watching this anime. Probably going to have to pick this one up! Really enjoying the show so far.

This isn't the normal kind if toy I collect but I don't think I can pass it up!

Wow!! I have just finished watching all 25 episodes of "Attack On Titan". I can only say it is damn awesome and makes me understand why Medicom went with 1/6 figure of Mikasa Ackerman first.

I am so gonna get Mikasa figure and this is one anime not to be missed.

Next I will be watching Fate Stay: Zero as I got the 1/6 Saber on PO last week and the next day, it was listed as sold out.

All I need is Eren, Mikasa and levi and I know its a long shot but maybe Annie aswell.

I hope they treat this like Evangelion and make multiple figures and titans.

Those are the big 3 and it is a must for Medicom to have them in 1/6 figures.

I was only impressed by Levi towards the end as didnt think much of him in the beginning but now he is an essential figure hahaha.

Keep in mind, HLJ lets you cancel. Amiami does not.

You can cancel with Amiami, but I think it's frowned upon. Too many cancellations might lead to your Amiami account being closed as well. I cancelled a statue I pre ordered from there after I read this (not sure how I missed it before I placed my pre order):

We ask that you keep this in mind when buying these products and repair them yourself in the unfortunate event that they arrive in imperfect condition.

Forget that. I don't want to pay over $200 for a statue, then have to glue it together myself if it arrives broken.

Maybe a bit high, but not that crazy depending on shipping & maybe customs fee's to get the figure into your country. It's around $211 (not including shipping) right now where I pre ordered.

I also will like to preorder at AmiAmi as I buy stuff from them before.
But I am afraid of Medicom's quality compared to Hot Toys as I dont wish to deal with a figure problem via online retailer.

My local toy retailer has her at USD$266 including shipping.

Yeah, amiami is pretty strict with overseas replacement too, they are not like NA retailers when it comes to that at all.

Alright, I decided to go with HLJ. After reading what you guys had to say I can't understand why anyone would actually buy with Amiami. Now I'm really looking forward to this line. I wonder how many characters we are going to get. If it goes like the Evangelion line, I wouldn't be surprised if they made characters like Armin or Annie. Not to mention that Titans (at least Eren in its Titan form) will probably get made as well (much like the EVA 1).

you shouldn't let people scare you, amiami is a great retailer, they're not one of the top etailers out there for nothing. they do good and I've not had any problems with them yet.

They have great prices and package well.

I've bought many things from them (mostly figmas, excellent figma prices).

I totally agree too n their packaging is awesome.
I buy from HLJ and AmiAmi but I prefer AmiAMi for their prices and their shipping is at gd prices.

HLJ shipping tend to be more expensive to cover their slightly cheaper price on figures but their packing is also very good too.

Just your own opinion on who you like more to purchase from.

Just finished the AoT anime (Will be reading the manga now!). I think the only thing that will prevent me from picking this up is if they announce a Sasha Blouse figure.

Probably going to go with HLJ myself for this one.

I have finished the anime and read the manga until Chapter 50 which is the latest one.

So many twists and plots in every chapter and anyone can be killed off easily too.

Awesome and getting all 1/6 figures from Attack of Titan if Medicom produces them.
