I like clean versions of figures myself... factory weathering is pretty hit and miss. Better to do it yourself or leave a clean figure as-is.

I know that Blackhole and I stand almost alone on our wanting the Shadow Stormtroopers. But I am still hoping that they can be done as some type of exclusive, someday (soon preferably).

i am totally all over good EU... if one can ignore what may or not be canon, the freedom allows for a lot of good story telling... by it "not being real", it is all real.

The only problem I have with factory weathering is that it's always identical from piece to piece. So if you get two of, say, the 501st clones, they'll have the same scratches and scrapes in the same places. Weathering should be unique to each figure, and the best way I can think of to do that is to leave the weathering up to the collector.

Incidentally, does anyone know where I can go about acquiring some different guns for my incoming clones? The basic little blasters they come with are cool, but I'd rather have one or two displayed with the longer rifles.

I asked Josh in his thread because I will be doing the same to this one. I've sent him my all white ones and will do so with the all white EP 2 Clone but I'm gonna give this one a try.
Just don't ever buy the resin rifles from a guy listed as cdcraftn or something like that. Quality is horrible with mold alignment.

Does anyone know what the height of the Ep2 Clones is compared to sideshow figures? I have put off buying them because Medicoms other figures are so short. Matter of fact on the subject, what about the Ep3 Clones?

The clones are plenty close enough in scale to hold up against Sideshow's figures. They added some spacers to them. They are definitely taller that the Stormtroopers. Have no fear. In fact, if you look back through this thread, and you won't have to go far, you will find some pics of the Shock Trooper and Palpatine or Sidious.
