This is still the best one,

I know exactly what you mean. I think the Enterbay sculpt is a bit too wide in the face. I did wonder whether sticking the head in boiling water, then squashing the sides in and putting it immediately into cold water may squeeze it in a bit? The plastic is really thick on the head though so I'm not sure if it would have any effect. I did experiment with a photo to see how it would look slightly thinner and it does improve it, but it's very, very subtle so I may not bother. Spot the difference below.(I really did "squash" the sides of the head in Photoshop for the comparison, but I know that it hardly looks any different). LOL.

The problem is the hair in the back below the ears. Shave some of that coiffe off the sides and lose the jehri curl.

At this point, UU Han Solo seems to be the better HF sculpt. Though funnily, the ROTJ UU sculpt looks to portray a younger HF than the ANH Hot Toys sculpt.

To me UU Han looks even more stylized than HT Han. They do share the same large jaw syndrome.

I think if this sculptor would have had chosen for a normal hairdo, and not this weirdlooking thing, we would not even be having an argument and everyone would be yelling and screaming for someone to cast it. If this thing's sculpt would be for sale somewhere I could probably turn it into something gorgeous.

Sorry but i don't see it. IMO, it must be that stern face. Not a Han expression at all.

Maybe a very slight smirk, but pretty stern. Still, it's the smirk we identify Han Solo with the most I agree. Same for Indy.

It's definatly Ford in the sculpt. If it's Han Solo is up for debate. But the Ford likeness I don't really think is.

I too must agree, never thought he had much resemblance to Ford. Can't believe people paid $300 for that.

Wish I could get a hand on the sculpt.

It's as always all in the paint. Quick mock-up of how the eyes are positioned wáy too high, and how they should have been!

left is original, right is how normal humans look out of their eyes :lol

To me this is clearly ford:

Just to be clear in the picture above nothing is changed EXCEPT for the irises. But to my eye the whole face has a different expression because of it.

Still can't find Ford in that sculpt. The best i can see is a Manga/Animated interpretation of him.

Yeah, human beings are complex creatures. The way we apprehend things depends on so many factors. Yet, I have to admit, the more I compare actual movie and Medicom Hans, the more I can catch the resemblance.

I can't see enough of Depp as I'd like in the UU sculpt just like I can't see enough of Han in this one. And yet people whose judgment I value reckon the opposite :)

To me it actually looks quite a bit like the new HT sculpt. I can see quite a bit of HF in both, but they're still not quite there.

Which makes me feel a bit better about my attempts, because clearly even the professionals have a hard time with this guy!

Oddly, I think the two sculpts are about the same in terms of likeness... though somehow I prefer the HT sculpt as a representation of Solo. I don't know why that is.
