I really don't give a rats ass WHO makes these figures, as long as the are made correct, and are not to expensive.


You can't compare SSC clones (or other armored figures for that matter) to HT or Medicom, because there is nothing to compare, yet. At least HT made figures that have state of the art armor (Robocop, Predators, Alien marines), so we know what they are capable of. Besides the Marmit troopers, Medicom makes the best SW troopers you can find at the moment, even if they are a bit shorter than your average 12" figure. The only serious problem I have with the Medicom figures is their price. They are expensive. I even dare to say that they are overpriced. Their SW figures are anyway.

Come up with a counter argument.You can even be sarcastic.Just don't get personal and start talking sh*t about someone just because they don't like something that you like very much.Getting persomal and bitter over some toys.I mean damn! Some of you really need to get a life."Nobody likes you" "you don't like my toy"

Nonetheless, you can't judge a company as being second-rate by what they haven't done. Simply because Sideshow hasn't gone into armored figures yet doesn't mean the rest of the line is mediocre. The figures they have made are fantastic, and as wonderful as people want them to be. Innovation is a separate thing from quality; while it might say something about Sideshow (which I don't believe), it doesn't say anything about the line as it is. I personally would rather see a dozen Lukes than some trooper I care nothing about. Personal preference is not the same as the quality of a line. If I had it my way we'd see nothing but Jedi and Rebel Heroes, but fortunately for everybody else Sideshow has also made things like Jabba and the creature packs, which I would never have made. And I'm glad they have--it's not about the figures I want, but being grateful for what I have. I don't care a fig whether or not we see Vader in the next year or two--but I would like to see Captain Antilles and some Rebel Fleet Troopers!

I usually don't post in the SW section here because of all the *****ing and moaning, and the constant Medicom VS Sideshow wankfest (I buy stuff from both companies btw).

...but I gotta chime in and say sweeeeet!! Thanks Medicom, I've been waiting for a EpII clone! I may even buy two so I can do that General Obi custom I've been wanting to do for so long now.

And just like the ROTS clone, I'll only be buying the white version. I like the way some of the "rainbow clones" look (especially the black "shadow troopers"), but there's no way I would ever have the space for all the eventual variants that will be released.
