I am very impressed with how the Medicom KOTCS Indy looks an a TT Slim Body.

I still can't believe they did that to Indy. They have hero bodies that look better, but decided to douche out and release their Auschwitz Indy instead.

Switched mine on to a Neo guy body, Used this to amend the Hasbro Dovchenko figure too, witha few more more detailed additions to the costume. They work VERY well, bulk up the figure and don't jar next to the head proportions, I was very happy with the results.

Picked up the Medi Raiders Indy with BBTS store credit for around $40. Definitely not worth it's original MSRP and I certainly wouldn't pay over $50 or $60 for him, but for what I paid, it's a decent figure. Mixes in nice with the two Sideshow Raiders 12" Indy figures.

Haven't bought the KOTCS Indy yet..still not sure if I will or not. Depends on if Sideshow releases other Indy variations. But of the ones I have, German Indy, believe it or not, is my favorite.

Well it looked alright in the pics above, but I should've specified...I was really thinking more about the jacket.

That's not a Sideshow body. That's a Slim TrueType made by HotToys and really, could'nt be further from the physique of Harrison Ford:

Actually, the Medicom Indy shirt is a perfect fit on the Sideshow Pro body. Just get rid of the buttons. I wouldn't use the Medi jacket unless you've the will/skill to replace the zipper and soften/weather up the jacket nicely. Medi's pants are a bit of a snug fit and I suggest using Sideshow's KOTCS or ROTLA pants.
As I don't have a lot of time, mine is still a WIP with part's being replace as I go. Use a BBI G3.5 neck post instead of the Pro's.

Receiving the Medicom Raiders Indy confirmed my fears about this figure. I already had the Sideshow Raiders version, and was blown away by the sculpt quality, and was fortunate enough to have received a Prometheus body that was tightly jointed.

I bought the Medicom Indy on Ebay as a buy-it-now for £34.99 delivered, but was expecting to receive the Crystal Skull version. (The seller's title and description was for KOTCS, but the photo was of the ROTLA box, and to this moment they haven't responded to any of my emails).

In any case, I now have the figure. There's something about the Medicom sculpt that has a soft, rubbery look, as opposed to Sideshow's. Medicom's also look less like Harrison Ford. The whip is an odd orange colour, the gas mask bag like a tiny purse, the belt and holster plastic like you'd find on a Hasbro figure. The hands also look tiny, which I understand is common on Medicoms.

On the plus side I like the jacket, shirt, trousers, trouser belt and shoes (and the artifacts, of course).

My feeling with these figures, after buying a cut price River Phoenix Young Indy, is that there is no way that they can be worth the recommended retail value. For instance, the boots on the Young Indy were of the cheapest quality, and I've since swapped them with a pairt of Dragon in Dreams lace up boots (some of the nicest 1/6 footwear I've ever seen!)
