So some of you guys have had this bad boy for about a year now.

Any signs of degradation in the rubber seat or Kaneda's outfit?

Anyone actually leave him in a riding pose for an extended amount of time? I think he looks best that way but I'm worried about long-term effects.

Thanks!!

I think displaying it in "naked" mode looks more badass than with the fairings in place!

A firend told me the same. It is a badass MTF bike!

i know! there was no mention of the extras on there like the one that came out in 2010! so im quite lucky, hehe :love

Luky *******!! :horror
I've seen some reviews of the bikes that came with the decal set (something i'd keep in my closet, but that is alright). It seams its frontlight stands at the right angle. Could you take a picture for us from the side of the bike with the light deployed? (your must be from the first batch)
Thanks man!

Both my bike and Kaneda are still in the same perfection condition as the day I took them out of their boxes. That reminds me, I need to use my extra decals/cowlings set one of these days.

Don't know about the long term effects of Kaneda sitting on the bike.

Okay, so here is Kaneda ported over to a slim TrueType. I have to say overall the new body fits the outfit better and I think it would make a good alternative if you have one handy.

But not such a difference that I would spend an extra $60-$70 (the going eBay rate) to get one.

The biggest difference is that the pants fit better and don't look as baggy. But the downside is the pants don't close quite as well at the zipper.

Also, to really make it work you'd need to swap around wrist joints and necks, but overall I think it would be doable.

And here's a few lights of the bike w/o any lights on, still looks impressive on the shelf :rock

I dug up my Kaneda the other day, to make some more pictures, but, I put it back into the box pretty fast. Don't see any great pictures in the figure by itself. The neck is just too long IMO. Looking for a solution, I remembered you transition GB, but, looking at your pictures, I'm not sure that the operation would solve the problem?

Got the TT body slim today.
Had to sculpt the feets they were too big for kaneda's boot (maybe i could have used more force but didnt want to damage the boots), made the holes in the kaneda's hands a little bigger with a screwdriver to fit hot toys pegs.
Had to open medicom neck to put the HT neck joint to the body.
Those rubber parts hiding the screws on each bodies are a pain in the *** to remove.
Definitly looks better.

Hello Alice,
here the slim with the head on (the neck joint is medicom's).
I think the neck feels less long.
But a HT slim body is quite hard to find recently i swapped the HT slim for a Dragon neo3 body and it's looks as good has good as the slim, even better since you can fully close the pants.
The neo3 body neck ball needs some mod as the feets.
I'll post some pics.

If anyone selling his Tetsuo let me know.

Thanks for posting! Looks like an improvement!
But if the mod goes any further than "swapping cloths" or "popping on heads and hands", it's out of my range!
A pity Medicom got the brown shoulder patches on the jacket wrong. The material is too stiff to make for a "natural fit". The shoulders are just to wide. Pity.

Still, I really want to see your photos now!

I'd be more worried about the outfit interacting with the rubber of the bikes seat. I have a feeling anything placed up against that seat could cause deterioration.

:exactly: That's why I had Kaneda sitting on the bike for a very brief period. I have him standing near the bike now.

Alice,
the mod is only common sense and being a bit handy.
I'm not gifted in these areas either but i managed with common sense ^^
I'll post pics ASAP!

Ami Ami had it 50% off just a few weeks ago and it's still 50% off on Amazon Japan....if you want him now is the time to get him!

Thanks Otomofan (love the nickname i'm too crazy about Otomo, currently i'm publishing a short story never released APPLE PARADISE, i tracked down the weekly mags where it was published and making my own book ^^) i've almost ordered with Amiami but after checking i realised that i will definitly get custom fees wich would make the price not interesting at all same goes with Amazon who wont send as gift or lower the value.

Even if they did send as a gift/lower value, Amazon don't send toys to France, do they? To Australia they only send things from the Books, DVDs and CDs section, nothing more. I've always found that disappointing. I thought it was the same the world over, with the exception of Canada.

I ordered Tetsuo from amiami with that deal, no customs issue here. It arrived just today but I haven't taken the time to look at it properly yet.

Tetuso is pretty nice in person... even at around $120 shipped I'd say he's over priced for what you get. But still a cool figure and necessary to complete the set.

Definitely waaay overpriced and he's not necessary. A poorly produced figure, IMHO. Not worthy to sit on such a 1:6 scale beauty!

Can admit to you. With the excpetion of the Bike the figures from Medi are not woth the price. Feels more like 50
:goodpost:

Bandai made the bike. Medi mercifully had nothing to do with it.:clap
