Ever tried to fit Bats in Kaneda's seat?

As much as I love this bike, I must admit I was very disappointed to find that it's just too small to accommodate a Hot Toys TT figure.

I really wanted to pose Blade in the bike, but he's just too big.

Still a grail piece.

Still wish it was bigger so Iron Man, etc. could take a ride . . .:monkey2

Nice pics!

Looks like the bike might be sturdier than I thought.

I was at work in Saitama when the BIG quake hit on Friday. I've been in a few earthquakes before, believe me when I say I'd never felt ANYTHING like this!

I wasn't able to get back home to Chiba until Saturday afternoon. I went in and found all my toys on the floor, including Kaneda and his Bike. The red plastic pieces were scattered. Tetsuo, surprisingly, was still kinda standing.

It was only a one foot drop, give or take a few inches. But I carefully examined it and put it back together. I didn't even notice any scratches! Even Kaneda was fine, and he's super fragile.

But I realized in the following hours how selfish and petty my little problems were as I finally saw on the TV just how devastating this disaster was. I was lucky. DAMN lucky. There are so many people up north that lost lives, loved ones and EVERYTHING they own. My biggest inconvenience was sleeping on the train station floor for one night.

My town is fine...looks the same, like nothing ever happened. All my friends are worried about me, but other than feeling the quake, I am OK. If the nuclear plant thing spreads, that may be a different story though....I am more than a little worried about that...

It's a risk one takes living in Japan. Earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanoes....something bad could happen at any time.

But isn't that true of ANY place on earth??

Commiserations to you and all your peeps Otomofan. By now we've all seen the news footage and the devastation wrought by the earthquake and tsunami. What nature is capable of... I wish you guys in Japan all the best now and for what lies ahead as you put the country back together again :(

I'm feeling relieved cause I have a very good friend that was in the area of the quake on business. I couldn't get a hold of him and started freaking out in the back of my mind, but his cell phone finally started working last night and he's fine.

But seeing the utter devastation on TV really puts it into perspective. If I HAD returned to my apartment to find it in rubble, all I've really lost is a few thousand dollars worth of toys and comics. The things that really matter in life, family and friends, are so much more important.

I got stuck overnight and spent some time sleeping on the station floor, and later in the city hall on a smelly carpet with an itchy blanket. Not a lot to complain about compared to people that lost everything.

I'm rambling now, but my point is....YES, of course we all LOVE the toys, but at the end of the day they are just pieces of plastic. Friends and family always come first.

But I love Japan too....I have no regrets about living here and I have no intention of leaving to go back home. Sure, this place has earthquakes and volcanoes and tsunamis....but it also gave us robots and ninjas and the sexiest damn girls I've ever seen!! I'm never leaving!!

I love Japan, it's culture and it's ppl. I hope, and I'm sure they will, come back stronger :) it sounds crazy saying this, but it's always been my dream to live over there one day

It's crazy with what's happened out in Japan, it just came out of no where. Really feel for all the people out there, I just can't imagine what they must be all going through. Like what Otomofan said friends & family always come first, things like this does put things into perspective. Hope Japan gets back on it's feet very soon.

Urban Samurai Hobbies has 2 listed in inventory for $430. Their product listing page says it's still a preorder but I think they just got them in stock last week. Keep in mind this is the second release version, which doesn't come with the bonus cowling and decals.

Big Bad Toy Store just sold out this past weekend.

Have to move fast on grail pieces like this . . . or watch the aftermarket explode.

I have one pre ordered through bbts which is the best price i've seen for the bike so far. The thing is, my waitlist just converted through sideshow and I know for a fact that the sideshow version has the decals but i'm not 100% about the big bad toy store version. However, i'm fairly the sure the bbts version does have the stock decals and just that there picture is wrong. Reason being is that the people who didn't get the exclusive with the extra cowling and go the second run edition instead all had the cowling with the stock stickers. So i'm almost sure bbts has to be the same.

So i'm not sure what to do. Just wait it out for the bbts version and pay 395 with shipping or keep my order through sideshow and get it now for 475 with tax a shipping. I don't know what to do :gah: Help!
