transplanting medi head to slim TT is very easy, unscrew the medi neck and rescrew it onto the TT and you are done. Though if you were thinking to use slim TT because you believe it more durable, its not. I have 3 and 2 are already broken at the knees and hip.

I don't but I know the new one is coming out. Maybe then, but for now the Medicom body will do just fine. And it is my least favorite Indy movie. :lol

Is there? I only understood that there were two new TT's (ala Wesker and Blade) and a new Narrow Shouldered with a Gambit head.

I hear ya about the knees. HT won't even replace them, so you're stuck gluing the post back onto the joint (it's a pain in the ass to fix). Fortunately, it evens out the proportions realistically and you don't have to worry about the body cracking like the Medi which arrived with a broken wrist peg and then the ankle shattered and the foot came off while pulling it gently out of the boot. The problem with the Medi neck is that it's unnaturally narrow and short giving him a chicken neck. So to display well with the other Indy figures, which I believe Deak is looking to do, the swap is necessary.

Just a quick FYI for completists, or anyone who was on the fence about this fig;

BBTS.com has him priced at 34.99 in clearance right now.

Not bad at all. Just about what he's worth! ;)

Thanks for the heads up! Not sure I'll jump on this. I would have definitely if it was the Young Indy.

...and poof, he's sold out.

I've been looking at Mutt in BBTS for several days trying to decide whether I was going to finally buy it or not. When I finally decided I was going to get it at the previous clearance price ($69 I think) I went to the page and saw it sold out and the final clearance price was $34 I went :panic: I learned my lesson for next time.

I just grabbed one for $60 on eBay though....

I cancelled my Mutt Williams on eBay, so it will pop up again soon for sure. Just in case someone wants it at $60, which is a good price too.

I know this is the wrong thread, but I really wanted Young Indy. Have tried several times to get him.

Young Indy is a mess. His head is okay, and as I wrote, the Cross of Coronado is a cool little thing.

One arm broke on mine and taking it apart it isn't really fixable because the joint is so tiny.

I looked at using another body but the tailoring of the clothes is a nightmare: the jodhpurs are very skinny in the lower leg and too wide at the waist; the shirt is baggy; the gaiters balloon over the boots; and the boots themselves...

It would be great if Sideshow were to have a go at making him in their 'Cult Classics' line, what with Indy now back in the headlines.

Oh come on - Mutt's been in the headlines plenty in the past couple of years.:lol
