Thanks for the help guys... Like others I got my insurance Jango at BBTS and if I manage to snag one from SSC I'll definitely cancel that order-- it's nice to have that sense of relief that I've got an order for one. Now I just need to donate a few thousand pints of blood to pay for all of these... Off to Transylvania I go.

Jango. I think the others will be easier and less expensive to come by later than Jango.

Jango no doubt. Plus if they're SS 12", 2=1 Jango, after shipping SS 12" are averaging like $70-$75 a pop, 2= $140-$150 that's about what Medi figures are shipped (depending where from, sws.com they are at least.) I'd say wait out the SS 12", with the exception of SOME of the exclusives, they go down in price on the 2ndary market, and are easier to get.

Ask yourself whether you prefer quality or quantity. If you want what looks like being the best 1/6 SW figure ever made,get Jango. If not get 2 or 3 SSC figs.

I always go for what is more impressive. therefore i'd go with Jango, not being biased towards medicom or anything. If Jango was a sideshow figure and looked like that, i'd do the same.

Quality over quantity nails it... Jango is quite possible the best looking (don't have it in my hands yet) 12" SW out there--- and I agree that he'll be harder to come across later on.

This Jango is indeed a jaw-dropper....the sculpt is quite good (although I must say the old Hasbro one, while "soft" is pretty darned good) and the outfit is generally well tailored and excellent....

but...there is ONE tiny thing about him that screams "cheap" to me...that white plastic piece on the center of his chest armor. Everything else looks so high-quality...and the eye is just drawn right to that cheap looking piece of white plastic.

(I know it's a tiny nit....maybe I'm just trying to talk myself out of going for such an expensive piece ...)

I'll probably pre-order if/when Sideshow offers it...and hopefully get a good look at it "in person" at CIV...to reserve final judgement if he's worth the big bucks...

I totally am not noticing any cheap plastic. That piece of armour belongs there, but it doesn't look cheap to me, looks like the rest.
