I think this figure looks great guys. I am going to hold onto my order for sure. Posed next to Boba you can't go wrong with this guy.

I know I said Boba wasn't worth the $150 price tag but honestly now that I have had him for a while- I love the figure.
I still dont think it was worth it. If I pay $150 for something they can at least make the 2 cent tube long enough so that it was stay where it should. If the arm has ANY bend the tube is just floating around it won't fit back inside the shirt.

If you look at the pics maulfan posted earlier, and I know what your sayin about Jango's big ass nose but,Morrison's nose "is" frickin big if you look at those pics.

Ya, Morrison does have a broad nose, even Hasbro's features that. I think what makes people think the nose is too big is that from his ears down, his jaw, mouth and everything are all out of scale/shape to Morison's face, so it makes the nose on the figure seem exaggerated. If that bottom of the face were right, the nose would be fine. Morison has fairly square-shaped face, looks almost as wide as tall, at least in AOTC, and the Medi sculpt is a bit more long than wide.

I'm anxious/curious to see what material his vest is made of. It has an almost plastic reflective quality in the lighting of the shots we've seen, but it folds like cloth so it can't be too solid. Looks great regardless, but I'm into studying the construction of these figures from head to toe, materials to sculpt.

Oh man that stinks. It doesn't happen with my Boba Fett. The only thing that really bugs me is the flimsy string they used to attach the cloth thing that drapes down. That little string is just asking to break.

Best pic i've seen so far of the HS.(taken from Medi-World)

Great picture, and it is a nicely sculpted head, just still doesn't feel totally Temura to me. I can't wait to get him though, looks nice in full armor.

I disagree, I feel Hasbro nailed him years ago

The rest of the figure leaves much room for improvement, but the HS was very well done.

Wow, I am really surprised you see him more in the Hasbro sculpt then the Medicom one. To me the Medicom one is near perfect. :huh

I see Temura way more in the Medicom sculpt. Hasbro looks ok, but something about it doesnt look very realistic at all. I think the Hasbro face is way too clean, Temura has a scruffy type of face which is seen in the Medi head.

Maybe it's poor photography, I just don't see Morrison in the sculpt of the Medicom head other than the eyes and nose, the mouth and overall shape to his head just seem off to me, but Hasbro's works well, escpecially with the attitude in his face.

I'm really thinking it's the shape of the Medicom head throwing me off, I just don't totally see this in it.

Yeah I have to go with Hasbro as far as the sculpt goes; they really did hit a home run with that figure. If you could get a good Sideshow paint job with the Hasbro sculpt on the Medicom figure I'd say it was perfect!

The Hasbro sculpt was an extremely good effort for a $20 figure but the Medicom sculpt looks more realistic to me. I really do wonder about the reasons for some of Hasbro's awful sculpts. Dooku and Jango were excellent, why were all the others so bad????

I think tyrannus and jango were actually laser scanned by the actors themselves for ep2.

Ya, it's a weird thing how those 2 turned out so well, they were the last of the Ep 2 12" figures, but then there were a few humans in the ROTS line and, while Palps was OK, none of the ROTS ones were as good as Dooku and Jango.

Medicom definitely has a more realistic look to the sculpting than Hasbro, but Hasbro never really got as detailed and defined with facial features like wrinkles and such, which is very defining of human versus manequin, so Medicom is definitely a step up there.

I kinda see it like Hasbro has the write underlying muscularture and skull structure for Morrison, and Medicom has the better skin layer.

See, I remember reading that Hasbro would be tapping into Gentel Giant's 3D scan process, but considering GG's Morrison head for the V2 Jango bust, I can't imagine Hasbro went right off a 3D scan, and certainly the early EP2 12" figures didn't have sculpts that suggested use of 3D scans.

Yeah i dunno beats me i coulda heard wrong.

You probably caught what I did, I don't remember the source but I'm 99% sure I read that Hasbro would be utilizing GG's scanning, but none of their products ever reflected that, so unless they loosely used those scans, maybe plans changed. Either way, with a little rougher detailing to the faces and hair, and cast in resin, the Jango and Dooku heads could hold up against anything in the high end 1/6 world.
