Yes they are the same type of vinyl as Boba's.

Thanks Scarlet, I was actually referring to the pleather vest itself.

I can't wait to do some shots with this guy, I've already got some interaction shots planned, and if I keep it out of focus, Hasbro's AOTC Obi-Wan may not look so bad.

Yeah, same typer material so I'd say a fair comparison.

It's a great looking figure, but the base body seems less bulky than Boba for some reason.

Stuff tissue paper in the chest area like we have to do SS hips

The helmet fits much better once the padding is removed. No more jutting chin.

I wish the hoses were longer on the arms.. They keep popping out. I may have to see if I can find longer ones.

When raising the arms high in certain poses, the tunic rises up, and then gives him a football player look. Helmet ends up resting on his shoulders. Have to see if I can do something like that.

And I STILL do not like the plastic molded belts. I feel it actually cheapens the figure. Yes, the belts are much sturdier than Sideshows because of this, but the sideshow belts, and accessories look, and feel much better for it.

I like the figure, but for $150, it should be so much better.

No flames here...I agree. The shots show a decent enough looking figure, but not $150+ decent...I'm sure that actually having the figure "in hand" is better than any photo (just like the Sideshow ones), but when I read posts about ill-fitting gear, pieces ripping or falling apart and a lack of relevant gear for the figure, the steep price puts me off. I love the character, but I'll wait and see what Sideshow does with him (yeah, I know...it'll be awhile and it'll be expensive)...

Seriously though, i do wish it wwas not plastic, but all in all, Great figure. Hey, Scarlet, how hard are the jetpacks to remove, and how exactly do i go about doing it, i want to lower Boba's and I've got the Hasbro jango jetpack, and i want to make it so i can put it on jango.

Is there a trick for getting the helmet on the head without force?

I have taken the little foam piece out of the helmet but when it gets on the head as far as the nose I meet resistance. I pushed it on once with a little bit of force but it was a PITA to remove and rubbed paint off of the back of the head.

Mine was a little snug, but it was workable w/o any paint rub.


So he came two days earlier than expected.

I'm really taking a liking to Jango.He just looks more like a little person moreso than Boba

Had to add a little cotton to his mid section to beef him up a little and will give him the extra 1/4" lifts.Btw I didn't have any issues with my hoses coming out

Actually there are other uses for the other flames. I did this more than a year ago with my previous Marmit/Medi Fett custom and it looks cool.

I really like my Jango figure. Thinking of getting another piece and customise to a strictly Geonosis Jango look with the alternate Jetpack and dented helmet.
