I just received my 501st Clone Trooper about 20 minutes ago. Very cool! Now I'm even more excited about getting Vader and the Stormtrooper.

After buying the Luke & Yoda PF, I used the rest of my Sideshow gift certificate towards a Vader and two Stormtroopers, although I still wasn't quite sure about the line. Then Star Wars Shop put up the Boba Fett for $50 and I preordered the SDCC 501st, and all of a sudden I was almost a completist! I can say that the 501st VCD is very charming and is worth the money, in my opinion. I went ahead and ordered the TIE pilot as well, and look forward to other releases in this line, although I wouldn't ever pay more than what Sideshow is selling them for--the $180 that they go for on eBay is too much for me. If they stay at 1/3 of that price I can afford them. I understand that they are certainly not for everybody, but I like them. They are a unique addition to my collection of Star Wars stuff.
