Just wondering if anyone has any pictures or thoughts on the Medicom Yoda vs the Yodas released by Hasbro ( I think there were two released by Hasbro- one with legs molded together and one with separate legs)?

Just wondering if the Hasbro Yodas were worth getting (and which one was worth getting).

MediYoda is great! I have the Dagobah training Hasbro yoda and it is pretty terrible.

Medi for the win. :D

Oh, I actually think the Hasbro Dagobah Yoda is pretty nice. This isn't a repaint --I just gave him a brown wash to bring out the details, blacked out his teeth so he didn't look so demonic, and gave him some hair.

The Medicom Yoda is also nice of course, but it's way more expensive.

If you can, please let me know what sets the Yoda's you're referring to were released with. I assume the "Degobah Yoda" pictured is the one shown below (and has legs that are separate rather than molded together like the other Yoda)? If' I'm wrong please let me know, I'm not too familiar with these Hasbro releases. Thanks!

That's the one I'm talking about. (They don't allow hotlinking of images, but you can see it if you open the link in a new page.)

Ok, cool. I fixed the link.
And this Yoda has the legs moldered separately as opposed to the earlier Yoda with the legs molded together, right?

Custom mickey made a nice looking one back in the days.

Medi Yoda is the ^^^^, definately pick one up if you find one at a reasonable price.

I have the medi Yoda and the ATOC Yoda. If you like the older look definitely go with the medi, if you like the younger meaner look go with the ATOC one. Either way both are great figs. Custom Mikey re did his medi Yoda with all kinds of sick articulation, that inspired me to do the same with the ATOC one.

It really depends on what you are wanting... I think the Medi version is the best looking (out of the box) and can look even better with a repaint.

But, given it costs $60 Vs $10 you are paying quite a premium. One thing about the Medi is it seems a bit thin to me, almost a bit too sickly... but the Hasbro seems a bit too round/full in the face.

Here's my Medicom version that was repainted by Darkartist:

Your Yoda looks great. But what is the "ATOC version"? (I assume it's Attack of the Clones but not sure what set it was, what it was called. Did Hasbro release more than two Yodas? All I know if the Luke/Degobah Yoda and then the Yoda with the legs molded together which I thought was an earlier release. Is there another?) If anyone can point me to a photo of the figure in it's package so I know what to look for I'd appreciate it.

My question is which Hasbro Yoda is best. I'm leaning towards the Luke/Degobah one since I think it has separate legs, but am unsure what the AOTC version is that was mentioned earlier.

It all boils down to price though, something I noticed that few are mentioning. Hasbro's Yoda can be had for a reasonable $20. Don't look to even touch a Medicom Yoda for less than $80, unless you find a desperate freak, and then still, I haven't seen him for less than $50.
