Got all 3 - Venomisher (Punum?) doesn't count...

But shouldn't Punisher have holsters for those guns? I hope they're coming!

I just ordered Blade.

Marneto and the Punisher IMO both have major issues. Both have awful sculpts. Maybe it's cause Medicom is trying to make them "comic bookish" but that Magento head looks worse than some of Hasbro's Star Wars 1:6 figures. Punisher doesn't look awful but it still looks wrong. Unlike Magento clothing which is excellent, Frank's oufit looks rather cheap. It's a plain looking outfit to begin with but for $99 Medicom could of done alot more. What makes me upset is that Medicom is known for their wonderful clothing yet on the Punisher the outfit looks like it's from a $20 retail store figure.

What a let down. :(

honestly, what do you expect? They made "Punisher's" costume. How much more detailed was his costume in the comics?

Like Gecko said, the comic Symbiote is probably made of the same black spandex and white paint, and i just sold one of mine for $275. Hardly cheap if you ask me, since people are willing to pay that kind of cash. If you're going solely by looks alone, trust me, you're being deceived as the spandex doesnt show up well under flash or bright lighting.

I expect my money's worth. This looks like a $20 figure. The Marvel Studios Punisher figure had better details and accessories than this figure.

The logo looks bad. It doesn't look like either the classic or modern logo. The gloves are horrible. It looks like he has gloves AND gauntlets on. Two guns?!?! FTF? Like Dave said, no holsters?

For the record, I didn't ask you. :monkey3 People are stupid. I am not. :monkey3 I wouldn't pay $100 for that Symbiote Spidey. I got one and ended up selling mine for cost. I didn't like how the fabric costume and plastic gloves and feet looked together. The costume was one shade of black and the feet and hands were another shade. They did not blend very well.

The spandex I think actually looks good. Unlike the Symbiote Spidey the boots and "gauntlets" hide the ends very well.

It just looks to me that Medicom did a half a$$ job on this figure. It's a shame cause I really wanted to order this figure.

I thik Medi did full on with them. It's jsut their style. Over exagerated head sculpts (it's based on comic art) and simplistic outfits (also...based on comic art) made from good materials and than awesome bodies. I have no problem with the bodies they gave each of these. Why would Punisher be HUGE? He was only huge in some of the drawings, but a lot of them he wasn't that big. And Magneto was huge in the comics, makes sense to bulk him up. Plus Medi always looks awesome in hand in the end.

I understand the entire line not being someones thing. I get some people want movie based figs, not comic. But I think they're just as good as Medicoms previous comic offerings.

That's fine, I feel for you then since you are not happy with them. I wont be buying them either. Medicom style is not for everyone, clearly not for you either, but there's nothing wrong with that. cheers.

I wanted to get the Blade, but I am trying to stay away from the Marvel comic line. I am concentrating on the Marvel movie line only. If anybody nows of a good Snipes Blade, please tell me.:)

Well what's great about Medi is they make stuff for EVERYONE! You want quality movie reproductions, you got it! X3 Wolvie, Ghost Rider, Spidey. You want more cartoony stuff, here they are comic versions, you want even MORE cartoony than that, VCD's! It;s something for all of us. Not to mention Kubricks. I understand these aren't for everyone, but I certianly don't think they look half-assed.

All Hail the New Nash and his diplomatic answers !!!! :D ....Nash, not so long ago,you would have start a war of words with bonehead and his answer...

Personally I pre-ordered hoping the production figs will be a bit better (body & skull logo on Punisher for instance). If not - then I'll cancel. No biggie.

I would just like to Thank everyone for discussing in a civil manner! Now see, isn't this much more fun than what we had before? :D

Great discussion by the way; the Marvel Medicoms just aren't for me, but I'm loving their other stuff!

SCREW YOU ALL, EVERYONE SUCKS I AM RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING, EVENM WHEN I CONTRADICT MYSELF :monkey4 :monkey4

OK, thought I'd fill in the usual things that tend to be missing from this thread:rotfl

I pre ordered Blade, who really surprised me, he looks really good I think. And I also pre ordered Venom as the Punisher. Its great I get Venom and Punisher in one :)

Depending upon the artist, quite a bit:

I know some people prefer the Mike Zeck Punisher and I can't say I dislike that version, but I grew up with Jim Lee and that one will always be the definitive Punisher for me.
Honestly, why couldn't they have just thrown in a trench coat and shoulder holsters? You could always just remove them and have the same version you see up for preorder now.
I placed an order for Blade, that one looks fantastic and well worth the price.

I think it's a pretty nice figure. And the thing about Punisher is you can accessorize him to your hearts content. Drop down holsters and mag pouches, weapons of every variety and black raincoats are all readilly available in 1/6th. Pretty much anything based on original flavor Punisher can be made using the Medicom figure as a base. I mentioned in another thread I probably won't be getting any more comic version 12", but this one is pretty nice and has tons of potential for making into your favorite version. Could change my mind.

I definitely agree. I've got my order for one though, and will gear him up with all the Punisher essentials. Throw a trenchcoat on him and put a machine gun in his hand, and he's the Punisher I grew up on. I'm not sure if I'll go as far as switching the gloves and boots for black ones, but he'll get everything else he needs.

That's not really the point, for $100 he should come with some of that. Just look at Blade, he's got a trenchcoat and scabbard, why couldn't they give the Punisher a trench and holsters?

For $100 you should really get more. This figure is no where near as nice as Medicom's other Marvel figures which came with lots of accessories.
