Men in Black reboot

Why does it need a reboot? There's no need to follow any of the continuity of the first three while still being a sequel. It would be cool if TLJ was the head of the MIB or if Will SMith was now the grumpy old partner.

It doesn't need a reboot, but it's Hollywood so they'll take all the extra $$$ they can get. With MIB, I doubt the demand/anticipation will be there to garner a big enough audience for opening weekend like The Forced Awakening. I'm 99% sure it will bomb.

It could just be the British arm of the MIB. That would be a better route to go than to do a regular reboot.

I didn't really mean it in a negative manner. I just don't see where they can take the franchise after part III without it coming off like a Syfy original movie.

Since I don't really see Hemsworth in the "Will Smith" role, I would think they'd have to either find a comedic actress or the older partner would have to take on that role.
