Needs a repaint and I'll have to remove that facial hair, no doubt about it.

Do you think they're only releasing him to fill the SSB's roster? Instead of tackling a full MGS line?

Nah, it was stipulated in a 2006 revised Konami policy that they will never visually reference MGS2 Snake ever again in any media.

Figma Snake looks ok but way too anime...Figma needs to fix their more realistic males. I mean, Link was a mix both and came out great. He could even pass for the Twilight Princess version...

As for the SSB roster, idk about that honestly. That could be the case but we are still getting Gurlokvich soldiers, which must mean something. Figma does have plans for Zero Suit Samus and Toon Link (nendoriod form though) who are returning in the new game as well but the latter is due to Wind Waker HD. If Snake gets his full brawl arsenal, rpg, mortar, grenade launcher, nikita, mine/claymore, and cypher, then it is the Brawl version. I wouldn't mind getting all of that though plus an M4 rifle.

They plan to make a Gurlukovich soldier. I suppose we'll see a Figma for Venom Snake since there is a Nendoroid coming.

Regardless of all the negativity about the Figma Snake, I personally think it looks absolutely amazing. Sure it's not accurate to the mgs2 model, but it still looks way better than the McFarlane figure and the Medicom figure. Hope the final product comes out just as good as the one in the pictures.
