It's retarded they put such a long neck peg on, it's obvious it's too long

Ground zeroes isnt too bad, the neck is long but that was an easy fix

Not sure, seems like Gecco is giving it more exposure so maybe. The car-like paint job is superb.

It's funny because GZ Snake almost looks like a custom gone wrong.

Have you checked your hottoys naked snake figs? the leather on mines starting to flake/rot lol.. check the parts that make contact with the leather vest like the armpit area and the part with the belts

Just checked mine and ive stressed his suit more than most and its totally fine. It must be your climate or just got a bum deal on your suit.

On another note, i finally got what ive been putting off telling you guys about. Its the rohby sculpted metal gear figures. Theyre a lot bigger than i expected. Theyre in immaculate condition too. Limited to ten sets. Im so glad to finally have them.

You make some good points - but I'm going to keep holding out for the articulated HT release. If it turns out to be cack, hopefully I can hunt the Gecco statue down for a reasonable price in its stead.

Reasonable priced? Eh, dunno. But I'm pretty confident it will be available for quite a few months at the very least. I'm getting both, but I'm sure I'll hate the HT version at this point.

I've noticed a pattern on this forum with Hot Toys figures.

1) the announcement - everyone goes wild
2) doubt sets in, pictures are nitpicked to death
3) fear stage begins, people begin to admit there are problems with the prototype
4) resignation that the end product will be terribly, lethally flawed when it finally materialises
5) people get the figure in-hand and it turns out to be fantastic
6) wailing and gnashing of teeth stage begins, all those who cancelled their preorders scramble to obtain the figure once good in-hand pics and reviews materialise
7) repeat for all future releases

There's only a few figures I can think of where this wasn't the case and it did indeed turn out to be junk.
