If you want it for a decent price it might be worthwhile. $60 Is pretty cheap, if your gonna get it anyway

They're completely unaware of the demand for it, and think going after the newest titles will work.

I dunno, i feel like their attitudes are shifting, after seeing the popularity of the Solid Snake figures. I say this because we've been getting a steady stream of Solid figures. PAK, Nenodroid, Revolmini and now an MGS2 Figma :yess:. These have and will, sell well. Goodsmile even extended Figma Snakes pre-orders from the overwhelming purchases.
So chances of more is likely but HotToys could only do it after they get Raiden and MGSV figures out of the way which unfortunately is gonna take a long time.

I don't, but I'm not in a hurry to get it.

Yeah that giraffe neck is to strong for me, but that deal is tempting!

The only thing that bothers me about a potential 1/6 Solid Snake figure, is the render that it'll be based on. I'm at least glad that I signed up for the Sean Dabbs custom, so I can customize a MGS 1 figure to my liking.

For now, I'd definitely like to see some MGS 1 merch from Figma.

Skull Face just arrived and I'm surprised to say that he's probably my most favorite MGS PAK construction-wise. While Solidus is still the best in terms of being the busiest, I was pretty surprised how the PAK-style proportions were tempered down for Skull Face and he actually looks pretty close to what little we've seen of the character.

His joints feel sturdier than a lot of PAKs I've handled recently. They don't feel flimsy and the joints don't feel like they're scraping against each other. I don't feel like something's going to crack at any second when I move his joints. Unlike other similarly-dressed PAKs I own (Agent 47, AO Joker), I don't feel like he's going to collapse on his own weight as the volume of the sculpt on his torso and legs feel pretty balanced.

One of my most favorite parts of the sculpt is his suit jacket, in which the shoulder joints blend in really well with the jacket's padding. It's something that PAK usually sucks at, but they finally nailed it here with Skull Face. I like certain details like the crocodile boots and the lever-action rifle's ornate design , though sadly the lever doesn't have a joint so it's permanently in its default position. I do like the added touch of the prison keys being individual elements attached together by what seems like a metal (or really hard plastic) ring; in which they hang pretty loosely on his belt like an actual set of keys.

Despite some folks' initial worries over the paint, both heads were painted pretty perfectly and I don't see any immediate issues that are normally prevalent in a lot of PAK figures. Both head sculpts look great, but I personally prefer him wearing the mask along with the hat as it complements the color palette of his suit vest underneath, not to mention it completes the whole cowboy aesthetic (isn't he Hungarian, Kojima?).

So yeah, surprisingly enough for a character that we don't really know much about, I must say that this is actually one of the best MGS PAKs I've owned. Even with his subdued design, he's surprisingly well-constructed and arguably a much better figure than TPP Big Boss.

^Neat. Is that one of Yoji's lithographs?

@ronri: Not a bad looking figure at all. I might pick it up too, but I'd like to know more about the character first when TPP gets released.

my bday is friday, whatre you guys getting me? skullface looks great, whod you get him from? pics are really awesome too. that lith is pretty slick, well done.

When/where did you guys sign up for the new custom? I would be very interested. Also is it gonna be based of the art or the game?

I really hope figma is thorough with the licence. Doing all the main games and characters! It'll be a cash cow like Playarts

Has it ever been established if BB is using Zadornovs arm in Phantom Pain or just that it's the same technology?

It's not been stated yet, but dude it looks like he ripped it off and shoved it on his arm. That being said its the wrong arm so it's just copied tech
