Got my 2nd HT Naked Snake for $80, was planning to convert him into the Tiger Stripe BDU, I wonder if that would make the figure more appealing?

Nice snag Ryan. I was looking at mine the other day, how do you plan on replicating the throat mic since it's part of the mold on it? Can you get one from another figure?

Yeah, I also bought a BDU and wetsuit to go along with him, haven't found the boots and gloves yet. I should be posting some WIP in a few days.

I'm fine with the Sneaking Suit, it's just that the HT version off the 3DS render was just plain bad- he looks like he's going to the moon rather than he should look from the PS2 render.

I just noticed that I've clearly haven't thought this trough..

Maybe I can use those black twisty things that's used to secure AV cables, and I could sculpt the details later.

Just put the vest on the body and then the BDU over the vest, sorted

I cut the bit that goes underneath the crotch on mine though

Id just trim the ring out of the neck of the vest seeing its pretty much junk after anyway.

i cba even doing that, i just cut off the part that went under the crotch as it added a mm or 2 extra when putting the trousers on and it made them ride high with the harness.

it gives it a nice wetsuit look as it's matte. You could essentially just cut it into a v shaped collar i guess as you only really need it for the neck

Yes, you have to cut the string at 1 the side to get it off, but if you bought it to make into a BDU you would have to get the vest off anyway, of just use the head and the harness

I think most who made a bash did that, i'm at work right now but check the customs thread they all have it i think
