I still haven't tried the flood lights on my threeA Rex, because I can't get the screw to budge. I have tried everything, any suggestions?

I'm just guessing we're getting a Battle Dress Snake at this point...but Tuxedo Snake would be cool. And military dress.

Watch if we get a new Solid Snake game, we get no variants >__> hopefully if they ever return to MGS 2 and we get regular Snake, we get Iroquois Plissken too

I would love a Tuxedo Solid Snake variant to go with the Red Ninja! Plus MGS2 Snake and Iroquois Plissken. Then Old Snake.

Including MGS1 Snake these are all i need, in every form. Figma, HotToys, PlayArts, Revoltch, 3A. Every thing, heck ill buy multiples even.

On Old Snake, i think thats the only MGS character that wouldn't look off from the funky proportions Square utilises with the PlayArts series :rotfl

I've thinking about getting into collecting Metal Gear Solid figures. The only figure I have right now is the Hot Toys Naked Snake. I've been looking at the Medicom 1/6 figures, and they look cool but I've not heard great things about the company. I owned the Medicom Dark Knight Batman figure and it wasn't that good. I couldn't bend the arms at all.

Can anyone recommend the Medicom stuff?

Depends really, they are of lesser quality than the HT figure due to the age of them, slightly undersized but more accurate. The bodies are prone to breakage and wetsuit has been known to deteriorate. They look great with a repaint so it's a tough one really

If you were looking to get into collecting MGS then maybe pick one of them up, I personally don't own them because they don't really fit in with the rest of my collection, but I'm a bit picky like that so

Ryan Pliskin repainted his Tiger Stripe one I think it was and it definitely brought it to another level, so I guess it all depends on whether you can see them fitting in your collection or not

Some new goodies

Raiden statue is perfect, except this one tiny paint smudge on his chest which is going to bug me every time I look at him.

All the Medicom stuff is great, but the bodies are old and can be prone to breaking.

These probably all you need to know. The Medicoms are great, more accurate to the games but they're also more fragile, and the Snakes are a tad undersized than modern 1/6 offerings. While the HT figure is definitely more realistic, I think Medicom put way more effort into getting the look right, especially considering how old these figures are.

Thanks Frank. Yeah, if anyone is planning on getting a Medicom, whether it's Raiden, Old Snake or MGS3 Snake, all of them will need a repaint in order to look good.
