I'm glad that they're finally calling the figure "Metal Gear REX" and not "Metal Gear Solid REX". In any case, my reward points will be spent if and when this becomes available on SSC.

I have to say, the weathering actually looks better on the half-scale model. Looks like you can also get the figure to stand without having to use the leg extensions at the back.

I don't think they are coming with stands, don't remember reading anywhere but I might be wrong.

I remember the gray vs. green debate from 2012 . Yeah, it's supposed to be gray. Such a shame that ThreeA kept the exact color scheme as the full-scale model. The weathering does look improved, at least.

Ugh we did it ad nauseam. REX isn't really either color, he's a subtle bit of both, but maybe more so Grey. But they turned it into a Ninja Turtle robot.

I'm guessing none of the armor comes off on the little Rex? I dunno. The lookbook they released was pretty crappy. Didn't really show any of the features. Should have shown it up against the other rex for a size comparison. I wish they'd release videos of their stuff. Just someone going through all the features and showing it from different angles.
