I'll probably get the knee and elbow sleeves done for Wolf too, I'll replace the hands and boots and pick up a better PSG1

If you fob off the orange puff vest and replace the sleeves and pads Meryl is fine too, you can get phicen bodies that fit them well

Basically replace the head, hands, boots, elbow and knee sleeves and pads and they'll fit right in

Just curious but what are the customs you guys would want to see Frank handle? I can't imagine people like Solidus would be feasible but that would be life altering.

I am going to but I'll probably just do a head sculpt - same with Meryl - and maybe some pads and her tattoo to keep costs down

It might be as well picking them up if you can while they are cheap

The clothing set for both of them is surprising good from the Yamato set, much better than Solid or Liquids.. Sniper Wolfs especially

Meryl's and Wolf's outfits holds up well, except for Meryl's tank top which is easily replaceable.

I would totally be down with replacement heads. Sign me up.

Got My mini revoltech Cyborg and Solid Snake yesterday. Both are rather ok and fun to play, but for some reason I have so issues with Snake. The face looked kind of smudged thanks to a bad ink/paintjob. One of those leg straps is also cut broken. Don't know how to fix that. Perhaps with a small piece of really thin plasticard. Though I managed to painty the face again and I'm rather happy about the result. I didn't want to go too far with this new paint job, but instead it looks rather like a simple anime/cartoon finish.

Just got back from Thailand Toy Fair where I saw the half sized Rex & Ray. Will probably pass on it ...

That's really good to know. Sounds like a very cost-effective replacement plan, too.

Nice, I'd definitely like to see some in-hand pics. Was it that unimpressive compared to the full-scale model?

Eh... they're nice, but not $200 nice. They're ****ing *******s for not giving REX a stand... AGAIN.

They should've at least given REX a different paint scheme. Depending if SSC gets it in stock, I'll use my rewards and pick it up. Having a REX figure that can finally turn its head, will be worth it.

I have the same problem with the face. On the promo pics it looked more like the official artworks, but in real life it looks more like cheap anime ripoff

I'm going there again tomorrow, so just tell me if any of you want a better picture of any specific part.

It looks exactly the same and I personally don't like the color (the smaller size makes it look more green)
, so I'm happy with me 1/48 Rex and 1/100 Ray.

I think you're hard pushed to find MGS fans willing to drop $500+ on a RAY or REX

It's most likely only the small portion that collect high end figures or fans that collect anything and everything MGS
