$130 ? I think I saw it for about $93 (PO price locally). Not getting it, though.

No. But no surprise there as it took Solid like 6-7 months before we saw the official promo pics.
(as He's not a school-girl figure)

Thanks for the info. Ugh. Hopefully HT will show us something before that.

Got some more games back from VGA today, pretty happy with them the MGS 1 PS1 is the highest graded copy out there (mainly becuase there's only 2 graded copys out there) And the PAL games took me 2.5 - 3 years to track down sealed copys. So very happy to have them in my collection :yess:

We talked about it a few days ago, and here we have the prototype pics.

Have to say it’s probably the first MGS 2 Raiden figure where they haven’t gone crazy stylizing his hair, actually looks good so far!
And looks so cute and deadly with that sword :lol

Yes, no more stupid hair! I really hope they do a Figma Raiden. PlayArts was pretty good but off. We've still not been able to do this team up from the game!

Yeh that would be my dream one from the line.

But unfortunately, MGS2 seems to be the one game that always goes unfinished. We only got Raiden in Solidus in PAK, and that's probably where it ends. I know MGS3 hasn't been done at all, but I'd rather them not start something, and not finish it.

I bet kojima sees raiden as the protagonist so he doesnt care about snake in that game. They had to do solidus in that game because hes the main villain. I think if we get a snake well be pretty lucky.

omg Raiden looks so cute as nendoroid!! :drool And his hair looks so much better than the Play Arts. Hopign Big Boss isn't too far off either!

Not sure what goodsmiles track record is with making figma and nendoroid of the same character. I noticed they made one version of the KilllaKill characters in figma but not in nendoroid form. I'm hoping we get it with MGS

Usually they do at least get one of each the characters, but they do vary from accessories to even version, like how we have a Nendoroid MGS1 Snake and a Figma MGS 2 Snake, and Nendoroid Toon Link and Figma Skyward Sword Link.

Kill La Kill I think they did the uniform versions in Nendoroid form, and the Figmas were the transformed versions.

Exactly right! I did notice they have made Figma and nendoroid of the same character from schoolgirl anime :ohbfrank::pow. I'm really hoping MGS can break the trend!

(I also want uniform KilllaKill figma, naked chicks on my shelf ain't cool)

It is weird how they've been doing the Kill La Kill line...scale of Ryuko's Super Saiyan form, Nendoroids of the uniforms, Figmas of the the transformed...usually you get figma and nendoroid transformed and then the uniform versions for both :dunno same with scales. Though the uniform versions seem to be more desired for scales, rightfully so. Cause naked chicks :lol

I don't think MGS is gonna break any new grounds with GSC besides the focus on men instead of schoolgirls, though that is something in itself.
