Help Support Collector Freaks Forum:
Played around a bit with all 3 statues. The parts can be interchanged if you get creative enough. I popped the unclipped sheath end off of white raiden and transplanted it to black then put the full sheath on white. I don't think the hf blade looks bad in his hand. I also traded the bases. Snake has the launcher for now. Let me know what you guys have for input. Thanks.

yeah it is! the only thing is on white raiden im leary to remove the cassette player as i dont want to harm the paint and im sure that there will be a peg hole anyway. oh well.
Yeah, Raiden with a cassette player looks kind of strange

We got a 3d printer at work and I've been screwing around with different stuff like new ball joints for some of the PAK figures I broke.
Today I made a 3D version of the diamond dogs logo and printed it out. I'm working on an outer heaven one.

So I get to meet David Hayter next month and I can't decide what to bring him to sign.
That's awesome. I'd say go safe and make him sign MGS1.
though at least some of the games should do.

those look pretty awwesome!!! i always dreamed of owning a 3d printer. id make so much stuff but one would be mirroring some of the pak hands that should have weapons on their opposite hand.
do you think this thread is on its way out and will eventually be forgotten? if so why?
Why would it be? There's plenty of stuff coming out in the future.
yeah i know, but, we used to talk ere all the time, even when there wasnt anything coming out. i feel like theres never any interest anymore. maybe im wrong. i feel like when we didnt know what was going on with the series there was much more excitement.

Nah this threads fine but my interest is shrinking because if something gets announced its almost guaranteed to be MGSV or Rising and I am tired of both of those. Plus I'm trying to avoid any massive spoilers coming with the new game so close and the past has shown no thread is safe.
My interest in MGS has died down a lot lately. I used to LOVE MGS but I feel the series has really gone down hill with inconsistent story and bunch of plot holes and just overall nonsense. Even with MGS V coming out, I'm not really excited. I'm just gonna wait for the eventual discount before picking it up. Same thing with MGS merchandise too, at least figure wise. I used to collect every MGS figure that comes out. I collected everything up to PAK Venom Snake and even that took me a long time to finally pull the trigger cause I found a good deal. If MGS V's story is yet another jumbled mess, I think I might just stop caring all together.

I feel the same exact way. I've been watching the recent video series on giantbomb.com and seeing them play through all the major games again has reminded me to all of the lame stuff they put in. Frankly I forgot how misogynistic they can be! I know the designs of some of the female characters are sexualized but the way the camera combs over the B&B in MGS 4 is gross.
Yet here I am 2 weeks until MGSV and I find myself dying to play it! :\ It truly is an abusive relationship.
