Heres some more pics of 1/2 rex, im probably sending it back because the hip joint wasnt screwed all the way down on his left leg so its a little floppy. I cant get to the screw either because plastic is glued over it and i dont want to risk damaging it. Wtf. Overall its really nice though.

Do any of the armor panels come off?

Nope. Has everything else though and the hatches now flip open on a hinge. The head articulation works well. I havent put batteries in the rail gun or the head yet, i think i have some kicking around.

Shame the bigger scaled version didn't get head turning. Utterly ridiculous that it didn't turn on that one.

I agree tony, its a shame and there was absolutely no reason why it didnt get designed into full scale rex. The head turning just makes it look more menacing, thats why i did the dynamic shot at the end. Also, the 1/6 figure bases work perfect for these 1/2 scale metal gears, im going to get some labels made for rex and ray. I think im going to order some more stands so i can get all the rest of my figures done and put a full order in at once.

Wasn't it the electronics they said that made them leave the head static? They could of just given the wiring more slack to move...

They obviously worked it out with RAY since his head turns about 30 degrees.

It was a bs answer, there was plenty of room. Remember when i tore mine down for you guys and you saw it was basically a hollow shell? When i get home ill post the 2 neck joints for you and you can see just how similar they are. Theres no question they dropped the ball.

I always wanted one of this figures but I never had the oportunity to really grab one until now.
the asking price was $90dls (new) [emoji29] but i think it really looks amazing for a 2009 figure ( looks better and more accurate than all of my most recent Play Arts kai and revo figures of mgs)

The Croc Cap Snake is still the best Naked Snake figure ever. I still use all his gear on my updated version.
