MGS 4 for me as well :lol. The RAH figures, the Gamestop exclusive LE, the strategy guide from Brady Games, etc. But, as much as I hate MGS 4's storyline, it's probably the most endearing game for me (outside of MGS 1), simply because I met Kojima at the midnight launch.

I really can't imagine. I spent a grand total of $110 on everything MGSV related, and already feel like money burnt in ashes.

Which makes me wonder, what MGS have you guys spent most money on? My answer has to be MGS4- games, toys, limited edition console, t-shirts, posters. I must have spent thousands on that game alone. :lol

Sadly, probably MGSV... Close to $1,000 on figures alone.

This was about the time you joined SSF, correct? Weren't you going all out on MGS4 way back when? :lol

You're joking, right?

I regret even buying any of the V crap, knowing how awful the game would be after the fact.
Also this. I was only getting the Nendo and PAK Venom Snake, but just couldn't bear to look at the figures the same. Not to mention by the time I got to the game, some of the PAKs were long sold out.

I certainly spent the most on MGS4. I had it all. The CE game, the UDF figures, the RAH figures, the Playstation headset that looked like the Solid eye you name it. I even had a stupid wall scroll that I hung in my room. I was only 17 back then and still living with my Mom working my first job and my now wife sat at the midnight release with me outside of a Babbage's. My hype levels were over 9000s and I beat the entire game in one sitting.

Oh I did too. I got it at midnight and played it till the morning the Second day of its release. My wife brought me food the whole time. It was the peak of gaming for me really.

Dedication, right there. I :lol I probably spent the most on MGS1, but only due to the scalped prices of Solid Snake, and Cyborg Ninja combined with me buying Liquid on retail instead of waiting months later. If I had to pick regular price...maybe MGS 3 due to buying the 3DS release, the Legacy Collection with it, and the Hot Toy Naked Snake (still waiting on finding The Boss for super cheap); all my MGS 2 figures were gotten at some sort of discount. In terms of me playing, I probably spent the most playing MGS 3, again due to the 3DS release. Played it on a mini-vacation, then during school term. I need to revisit the series as a whole at some point.

That said I still want PAK releases for MGS 3 and MGS 4, or Good Smile/Max Factory to get those games at least.

we probably wont see the light of day on those requests, i want those made as well but konami will have a strong hold on kojimas nuts and well never see another retro collectible.

Unless an MGS 4 Remaster happens in the case of that game getting collectibles, which I doubt it will. It's strange how PAK never bothered with MGS 3 or 4 still.

I still have some faith in GSC since they could be a lot slower with the gurlokvich soldier.

Very strange indeed. Or even MGS2 figures since they already started 2 figures. Now who knows who's in charge of merchandising MGS at Konami, it was Shinkawa and Kojima before.

If we don't see new collectables by the end of the year, we're kissing it goodbye :,-(

I'm saying there is no chance of Square doing more MGS. The series is probably shelved for a good long while and they know MGS sales can be bad if the hipster crowd isn't buying into the hype currently so they probably won't bother. I have no doubt MGS3 and 4 figures would sell, hell I would buy the **** out of Old Snake and Raiden I just don't think Square thinks they would. Hope they happen one day.
