Looks to me that the series will remain dormant until Konami decides what to do with it, and licensing toys definitely isn't the way they'll go. Remember, other properties like Silent Hill. Frogger and Castlevania have been dormant for years now.

I think it's amazing how Konami never really capitalized on toys for Silent Hill and Castlevania, it's most definitely due to Kojima that we got MGS toys made in the first place.

Very strange indeed. Or even MGS2 figures since they already started 2 figures. Now who knows who's in charge of merchandising MGS at Konami, it was Shinkawa and Kojima before.

If we don't see new collectables by the end of the year, we're kissing it goodbye :,-(

Yeah, 2 figures is strange. They usually did 4, and only with their earlier lines did they do any less. There were sales for MGS1, so it's not like at the time the market wasn't there...I dunno, maybe the Raiden Rangers ate into possibilities?

Castlevania is VERY strange, because they can do a lot due to numerous characters and weapons. Silent Hill is getting some merchandise with those Gecco statues, and the Figma monsters. But it's weird and probably due to Kojima that MGS got some, along with the series' huge popularity...maybe also due to Kojima's strange ways too

After looking for about 2 years now, finally found a copy of Metal Gear for the IBM and it's sealed


I think now I have every version of Metal gear ever released

(I do have the Game cube versions but there in the Game cube Premium Package)

i bet amiami will have it much cheaper. they usually are 20-30 percent cheaper than bbts. thats where ive been preordering lately.
