yeah i was satisfied with this figure until the holster problem.

ive just swapped his gun with naked snakes, and it fits, he does use the m9 in th game after all and the suppresser fits in it's own pouch

I checked his arms and I can't see any peeling but then again I'm very careful with how I move my figures and I hardly ever pose them or if I do, they stay that way.
Personally I prefer the olive drab version over the original version but they are fragile which really sucks since i've paid over 500ish US to get them :S. I do have more info and pics on the Mediworld thread so you might be interested in visiting there (since you guys limit pics :S).

It looks the same at least,so if i were you dont bend any parts,just leave it like it is.
Its a nice figure but is the paintjob on the face as bad as it looks?Looks like he uses tan cream,and he did a terrible job with it.
Looks like they just did a rough paintjob on easiest areas on the face,and nothing around the eyes,nose details etc.

lol i suppose someones trash is anothers treasure XD. I like them but they are in no way up to the standard of the MGS3 snakes, when I hold them up against my MGS3 zombie camo I kind of have a WTF moment about the difference in quality. Oh well I'm a die hard MGS fan so I'm all good with it. I just wish Hot Toys had the licence, they'd at least get the accuracy right before letting it slide through with low QC XD.
Im the same as you,have V1 snake and Raiden,both failed,but im a hardcore fan myself so im actually surprised over myself that i havent gotten the Olive Drab yet.
People have all right to trash talk Medicom because of this,the first 2 times,and Medicom refused any responsibility and wont replace any of it.

I just wish Medicom would be such a ^^^^^ about the figures. They seriously expect us to pay out 180ish each + shipping and they sell us shoddy merchandise, at least with the snakes you could repair them but with these if the paint goes the figure basically goes.
I love Medicoms figures but they push consumer loyalty, they're kicking their fans in the ass and we aint going to take it anymore. To the extent the only figures I'll buy from medicom will be MGS ones other than that they can kiss my money good bye until they shape up their act, either that or drop their prices to $80-$100 per. Then the low level of QC wouldn't sting as much.
Btw what MGS3 snakes do you have (if any)? also i'm still waiting on my raiden should come in within the next 10ish days,can't wait he looks the best...... now if only Hot Toys can win over the licence >.> hmmmmm.

Hahahah so you're the one who owns that pic, your the reason I got the zombie camo MGS3 snake XD. I'd love to have as many as you do but unfortunately they cost soooooo much. Around 300ish-350ish US + shipping which is silly high. If only some store had them on the cheap :S.
Btw I suggest you get the Olive Drab Snake while you can at a cheap price so you can have the full set!

this repaint didnt cost much,about 40$,cant really remember,but it was around that price,however,the guy im sending my failed snake custom head to,charges from 40£-80£ depends on how much work he needs to do,80£ is about close to 200$ i think,but in the end its worth it,you should check his work in the custom discussion section,his name is DARREN CARNALL,he is very talented.
