This news is several weeks old by now, but if anyone was looking forward to the MGS IDW board game, it's been officially cancelled.

It's quite unfortunate as I was just getting into boardgaming.

Man this thread is dead...

In any case, I'm currently letting mine air out a bit before I display it. I'll eventually have to post some pics of my MGS collection as it's grown a bit over the past couple of years.

Nothing has been announced/released for sometime - so I feel it is expected.
Look forward to see how vast your collection is now.

Yeah, I'll have to post some updated pics of my collection sometime this year after I get my new place set up. I remember how popular this thread used to be, hopefully the movie can inspire some new merchandise to bring some folks back.

Yeah, I was pretty surprised that the box was in great shape! I'm also trying to find good copies of the original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2. I really regret not buying them when they were a lot cheaper a few years ago.

So, I'm sorry if this has been answered before but I couldn't find anything in the search and didn't want to comb through 3200 pages...

To those who got the Limtoys Quiet parts set, what body is best to use? I know there is a body that is recommended, but that body doesn't seem, well...as endowed as Quiet is in the game model.
Also, any pointers on things to look out for on this set?

I think I like this one better. Is it just me, or does the paint apps on the headsculpt make it hard to match a body exactly?

I've tried both. they are little off in a different ways, but not really noticeable in hand. Only photographing shows slight differences in my opinion.

Good to know. I'll have to get the muscular body then because the bust and body type seems to fit better imo. Thanks for recommending it.

I was knocking the dust off the detolfs today and I dont think Ive posted my kitbashed Naked Snake here before.

I really wish a 3rd party would make one of these. I also need a better camera phone lol..

Impressive! Great bash, and excellent touch with the diorama, too :clap

I don't collect figures anymore, but I'd definitely jump back in if Hot Toys release some additional MGS figures. I'm pretty sure they still have the license for this franchise, but haven't done anything with it for years.

Thanks! Definitely same here. I would get anything 1/6 Metal Gear.

Nice, the dio is a nice touch.
This reminds me that I should change the BDU from OD to a tiger stripe on mine.

Has anyone done a decent Volgin kitbash? I know we got a "Man on fire" PAK, but i'd still love a classic MGS3 era Thunderbolt.
Given Limtoys love of MGSV, I was kinda hoping they'd tackle a flameless version, but I somehow don't see that happening.

I haven't seen a Volgin kitbash on this forum, although something probably exists since Hot Toys released The Boss with the Davy Crockett suitcase as an accessory.

Also, Lim Toys' love seems to be only for MGS V. Which is a crying shame.
