But I have a strong feeling Lim was never interested in anything outside of V, or any non-current/new game

What's the general consensus on the First 4 Figures MGS line? I heard there was a Raiden (MGS4) on the way. I picked up the SD statues but kind of regret it since that huge one is beautiful

I know that they are working on Solid's bust, Fox and Wolf were mentioned but nothing official.

I own the their 1/4 Snake's statue, it could definitely be better but no buyer regret here.
Their SD Snake looks bad IMO so did not pick it up.

F4F loves their teasers and...yeah the SD Snake isn't great. I got mine for cheap and thought they were ok but after moving to the big pieces, bye bye Snake. I don't know why they did an SD, and not a regular PVC (or Truform as they call it) like they did for Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Luigi's Mansion 3 and now Kirby. Can't be a conflict or that it would outsell the 1/4th since Kirby clearly won't present that issue.

That's good if you're with limtoys, just make sure my boys Liquid and Grey fox get made eh? You already get Liquid's facesculpt when you make Solid, seems like a no brainer.

As I've been collecting old Metal Gear Solid memorabilia for the the past couple of years, I've been seeing some crazy price increases. In terms of collectible value, there's absolutely NOTHING from this franchise that should be worth over $500 (max). That includes the sorters, or any of the most valuable signed items you can think of. Case in point: the following auction has what appears to be a "sealed" copy of the MGS 1 PAL region Premium Package.

The current bidding has it at $1,575 USD. However, it's important to take note that the PAL Premium Package was never factory sealed! Here's what defunct MGS collector, ViolentSnake (who once coveted the largest MGS collection) had to say about it:

Here's the scoop. Konami was infamous for *NOT* sealing their PAL region games. Sealedgameheaven moderator Gemini-Phoenix has an awesome thread regarding this. Now, that's not to say no Konami games were sealed, it's just some are and some aren't. Even today many copies of MGS4 in the UK are new but not sealed. Anyways....

The Premium Pack was NOT sealed by Konami. The inner contents were but not the box. The boxes were sealed by some retailers, so although yours is sealed and I highly suggest not to open it, it's not a sought after factory seal. How did I finally find this out? Someone in the UK had contacted me that saw it on my want list as "Premium Pack PAL *sealed* and informed me all about it. He's worked at a video game store for years, even when this was released 11 years ago. I also know someone in Spain that has a case of these (spanish version) and none of the boxes are sealed (only inner contents), but it's only recently I've received confirmation on the PAL version.

As far as print run, I believe it's 10,000 for the entire european region.

Although it's quite rare and a sealed PAL premium package (only inner contents sealed) may be harder to find than a sealed gold package, I doubt it would sell higher. If you're looking for a number, I think yours with the extra store seal would go for $300-$400US depending on how good of an auction listing you make and if you can attract the right buyers.

So, with that said, someone could easily seal a Premium Package in good condition for a resale. Or, the Premium Package from Ebay was bought from a retailer who decided to wrap it up in plastic. Whatever the case, this is the most insane Ebay auction I've seen in years, so I figured I'd bring it to attention. In case someone here is bidding on it, it's really not too late to pull out of the auction. You're essentially paying a prince's ransom for a seal that won't be accepted for VGA grading.

The PAL Limited Edition Premium Package is pretty rare, but it's definitely not as rare as the black and white sorters, or any of the three shareholder editions by comparison (which are sold for much less). This is why it's important to do your homework when considering major purchases or you're just going to be throwing your money away.

Gray Fox makes sense since Psycho Mantis is being made still. But yeah since F4F is so all over the place these days, who knows? Doesn't help that Raiden is still mixed in the community

And a great character. I can so see him being a huge seller for F4F and I'm pretty sure they have no clue about that.

just to let you know, i would buy, anything, ANYTHING from the first 4 games.
Especially MGS3, i would buy even figures for Sigint, Paramedic and Zero.
i like V, but i would like something from the others.
it would also be a lot cool to have old snake and big boss from the MGS4 ending.
i tried kitbashing them, but the only seller of old snake headsculpt i knew vanished from aliexpress
