After an eternity of waiting, I feel gratefull for 3A to release a giant MG Rex figure. I can deal with the delay and the lack of head articulation. Jesus this bad boy is gonna be glorious.
I wanna see more of MG Ray.

3AA MG Ray = 2 more revolutions around the sun and about a million cases of blue balls later.........................not enthused about it. im burnt out from the boringness that is 3A/Ashley wood. ill get it but at the loss of my sanity. again. "F" them.

^RAY might be up for pre-order by early to mid next year. The unpainted prototype was already shown at one of the cons, and there were also pics of Shinkawa holding it up at his office. I think a 2014 release would be great though - just to give us enough time to recoup the funds that we spent on REX .

Thank you! Anyway, I was wondering what's the anticipated release date of the 3A Rex in the U.S? And that Metal Gear Ray that was teased.. It look an awful lot like the mass produced Arsenal Gear version instead of the Marines. Hmm..

Hey, welcome to the forum! Are you getting the retail version of REX or the ThreeA exclusive version? Ashley Wood mentioned that the retail version will be shipping first followed by the ThreeA exclusive.

About the retail version: Sideshow Collectibles emailed me yesterday and said that they're delaying the shipment until November. Since Sideshow supplies all other retailers in North America, it'll take time for them to ship out all of the REX figures. So, other retailers should have the figure in stock within a month, to a few months later. If you've ordered the retail version of REX from anywhere else besides Sideshow, you should expect it to be shipped out to you, anywhere from December to March 2013 the latest (arrival and shipment dates will vary tremendously for each store).

As for the ThreeA exclusive version: ThreeA will be shipping their version of REX directly. I was told by a moderator on their forum, that ThreeA ships their cargo by plane. So, it may arrive sooner than Sideshow's shipment - which is shipped by boat from Hong Kong to the U.S.

In any case, it doesn't look like anyone will be getting this until the earliest, mid-November.

i know i hear ya. but my collection is so big now im running out of stuff to buy. plus i got some good prices on em. damaged box deals. im a figure collector. theyre figures. vinyl figs are garbage IMO but they were metal gear so whatever.
