Yeah that box art is awesome, and most likely will be better, since I'm sure the bamba box art will be done by Mr. Horny Picasso (hope I'm wrong and Shinkawa surprises us with something in it)
Plus Shinkawa > Wood art, hands down

Definitely something Yoji Shinkawa did exclusively for this release, because by the looks of it, it's a recent work of his. His art has definitely gotten more sharper looking and every time he revisits a young Snake he can't help but make him looks slightly older than his prior arts.

After playing MGS2, I really wanted an Old Snake figure, so I ordered the Medicom figure. It's not perfect. I really wish Hot Toys would have bought the license, seeing what they've done with the Appleseed figures really makes we long for an HT Snake (any Snake).

If that's the real box art for the Koto REX kit, it looks amazing! I really do hope that Shinkawa makes his own Metal Gear REX figure one of these days. The ThreeA REX figure is essentially Ashley Wood's release - he just requested permission from Shinkawa to use the design, and in many ways, he just botched the hell out it and ruined a lot of the figure's functionality. With that said, I'm sure that the Bamba exclusive box art will be from Mr. Horny Picasso (aka. boner Wood) himself.
Now that I think about it, I'm glad that I didn't order REX directly from Bambaland. I was never a huge fan of Ashley Wood's, and if it's MGS related, I'd much rather have something of Shinkawa's instead. So, getting the "exclusive" Bamba artwork and poster are pretty much a non-issue for me. I already have several official MGS posters with Shinkawa's artwork to fill that void.

yep, its past laughable at this point. i hate them more than any company and i never got anything from them before. just hurry up with the mgs stuff so we can end this "relationship".
It should of been Liquid Snake but they are done with MGS1 at this point...

yeah I don't understand why they can't just do some villians before they move on they always do the main good guys and then move on it's so frustrating
