ThreeA REX has both its MGS 1 and MGS 4 configurations, so they didn't have a license for just one specific game. Don't know why the same couldn't have been done for RAY with its MGS 2 mode. Seems strange to me.

Maybe it was due to the fact that there was only one design for REX and there never was a railgun-less version. Who knows? It was probably some bureaucratic BS between Konami and 3A.

They got a license for 1 and 4. ray with the tail was from 2, that's why, they didn't get the mgs2 license. Additionally, they probably thought that it would be too generous to give both mini FIGS

I got mine with Old Snake together for 500$ a few years ago, I so got ripped off 
i paid the same my friend. as far as im concerned thhese deals lately on these have popped out of nowhere because for years i havent seen them any cheaper than 300-400 each. they must have went down because of the new hot toys and inflames figures. im not too sure why else. maybe people are getting these paks.
Yeah, people are probably holding out on the prospect of Hot Toys releasing their own version of Raiden - or, they've decided to settle for the PAK Rising figure. I would have done the same thing. $400 for a Medi figure is just way too much to spend.
