I am most looking forward to the chase Kubricks. I hope they are an MGS3 Ocelot and an MGS2 Vamp.
As long as they aint too expensive...

There are a few Japanese/Hong Kong sellers that will sell Kubs by the case. Check Kubrick Nation (forum) for info. on those. BBTS often sells them, as well. The thing with those cases, though, is that you may not get all the chases. I'm not recalling the ratio of chase:common MGS Kubs, but with many sets there are 1:48 and 1:96, blind boxed chases. If you get a case of 12, there is a 25% chance of getting the easier to find chase. However, some series have cases of 24, which gives you a 50% chance. But I bought a case of 24 Alien Kubricks a few months ago, banking on getting the cool chase (1:48 ratio), but no luck. They will also intentionally include only one of two possible "easier to find" chases in a given case (they do that with the Star Wars figures), so people will actually buy 4 or so consecutively produced cases, in order to maximize their chances of getting all the chases. Nuts.Meh, they will be must haves at any price.
This may be the first time I invest in a carton and sell the extras on eBay. Anyone know where you can buy cartons of Kubs?
$100 for a "lego" figure . I've been thinking about investing in Kubricks for some time now. But, there's no way I'd spend $100 on a single Kubrick. For that price, I'd rather invest in another 1/6 figure.

In other words, even paying the outrageous case prices will not guarantee that you will get the chases, though if you buy it soon enough, you might could justify the cost by re-selling the extra commons on EBay (if you wait too long, the easier to find commons [3:12 figures, etc.] end up being real cheap).
Personally, unless the chases blow my socks off, I'll probably pass. $100+ for a cool, articulated, 12 inch figure, I can swing. $100+ for a Kubrick? I've paid that for the Batman Begins 3 pack, and for the Early Bird set, but not for a single one--not even one of the Croc-Head Snakes, which are my sole remaining Kubrick "grails."
I might spend 100$ on the Tiger Stripe Kubrick but thats about it.I recently scored the MGS2 Snake Kubrick for 16$,great deal if you ask me.
Same,i recently sold my UDF figures because i think they are garbage,if you pushed your finger gently on the plastic box it immediately started to detach from the card, its really annoying.Allthough i will pick up the Big Boss and The Boss figures,i love MGS3 and these 2 characters.

This would look cool with the Snake MGS4 RAH...Sniper Wolf/Crying Wolf environment, comes with a Wolf too
Guys, let's do a count of how many people pre-ordered the new Cold War Snake figure. I'm just curious to see if the new figure is actually selling, or if whether it's more feasible to invest in one of the older figures. So, let me be the first to respond:
RAH Cold War Snake figure: Pre-ordered
So, how about the rest of you
Eh... it doesn't look like this figure is very popular . I got my pre-order in last month, just to be on the safe side in case the figure sells out. But, I'm actually on the fence right now, as to whether I should buy Cold War Snake, or invest in one of the older figures. Hmm... decisions, decisions.
I'd try and get one of the first three figures if I were you
