Konami did get me a replacement lamp, but it was like pulling teeth for 4 weeks.

If Anime Island tries to pull that with me and tell me a faulty figure is my problem, I'll request to return the figure for a full refund. If they say no to that, I'll simply threaten with an "invalid transaction" complaint and if they still don't budge, I'll "return to sender" the package and then file the complaint with my CC and paypal.

I've had to do that before and nothing gets a company's attention like some negative credit kickback...plus they have to pay a fee too, which sucks for them.

I just ordered one from a place like go hastings that takes returns no problem. when I get my new raiden I'll return them the bad one and say it came from them, that's how I'm working with that. Hate to be scummy about it but you gotta do what you gotta do.

I like the green eyes, it goes with his sharp features. I never knew that MGS4 he had blue eyes, or I'll definitely go WTF at that time.

Yeah he looks cool with the green. In MGS1 i thought he had brown eyes, but who could say i was wrong, even the art was ambiguous lol


So i got my Revoltech BigBoss and this is pretty bad ***!, I need a version of every Snake at the least now, also a couple soldiers! Like someone said before i wish i got multiples to pose and etc.
The poses i always wanted to do with my MGS collectables i can finally do now

My one negative is i wish they were a little bigger and its too expensive for what it is - cost me around the same price as my PlayArts ???

not until i finish the back collecting. but i have other interests. my ocd makes me not want to invest in anything else at the moment. i guess thats why im always posting something new. i also think its easier to keep track of things to buy when you put more focus in one thing. plus, im narstee at working deals in my favor. i love what you post of your collections and want some of it. right now isnt the time. i just started my new job a month ago. its was one of my dream jobs. i am being paid what i want so the collectibles will just keep on coming.

I wish I could just collect MGS, but I'm involved in too many lines to do so. I think later today I will make a thread of my entire collection since I need to clean my shelves up.

see, collecting in general is sometimes overwhelming. you got exclusives and variants too. my fun is in the kill. i get a thrill from sick deals and finding things others cant. if i went with other lines itd be impossible to "complete" a collection. i collect methodically and in order, usually not moving on to the next thing unless i have all of the previous. this is why im always posting what i find. chances are if i dont need it maybe someone else really does. the people i get along with well, i always let them know first what i know theyve been wanting. while i am a completeist, i never do doubles and actually care about my fellow collectors and would always give them as good a deal as i can.
