Like with all of them, Snake will be in tip top shape or be riddled with QC issues.
I'm kinda hoping that it sucks ballz, so I won't have to pick it up

Got these in today. They are my first from the Medicom UDF line. I like them even with the utter lack of articulation. It really is like they wanted to one up the Mcfarlane figures by putting in even less movable parts

Im super envious of the RAH Raiden. Id love it. But as every time i see it the price is more than im willing to pay i never try to save up for it. And i cant just sit with the cash for a reasonable Raiden waiting in my paypal im too impulsive and ill end up buying something else.

Thanks brothers. I was away working on Wolf, and barely unboxed Raiden. I think I'm almost done after a 6 hour paintjob. I'm super exhausted.
Well, i was saving up for a Hot Toys STARS Wesker when i decided to buy the MGR White Raiden collectors set on a whim and i grew fond of the figure and want some future ones. So sometimes it can work!

Yup, That was me.
Seemed like a good price. I've seen MGS4 Raiden alone go for over $70
It's probably the most valuable figure that I have in my 1/6 collection. Way more expensive that all of the Batmans.
It's definitely one of the valuable figures I have too, along with both Hot Toys Weskers.

After having Raiden for a few hours I'm surprised on how visually pleasing this figure is. I'll just dab some women's concealer on his pale skin and I'm done. The details all around is just superb.
I remember years ago people were trashing this figure along with Old Snake. I wonder at what point did Raiden (and Old Snake to some extent) suddenly became super expensive? What's the cheapest we can get him nowadays anyway?

Last time I checked Snake is usually $200+ and Raiden has always been $300+. I don't have much issue with Raiden's headsculpt but I always thought Snake's was awfully painted.
How much did you put out for Raiden? It had a cracked wrist peg right?

Yeah the peg was broken but I remember Jason saying something about using epoxy. I got Raiden for $145!
You're wrong about Old Snake, he isn't badly painted- he's barely painted at all.
All they did was slap some lip color and painted the eye! 
I have no idea how the sculpt ended up being so good yet they forgot to paint it. On the plus side though, anybody who paints their Old Snake will see major improvements right away since the sculpt is actually very close to the 3D model, I've checked.
Anybody has the Olive Drab? I wonder if it suffers the same issues as the regular Snake. Didn't this board start off with that rumor that the Olive Drab is better?
