Heck yeah, PAK MGS3 Boss would be awesome. She'd be sexy for sure. Take that Hot Toys! lol. Let the real pros show you who to make a female action figure.

I agree. I'm hopeful that both Solid and Liquid are going to make appearances, or at least be alluded to, in MGSV. Which would signal a return to Solid as the leading character. Eventually. lol. Who knows. I mean, where else is there to go post MGSV? All that's left really is to redo Metal Gear. I'm probably being too hopeful, but I mean.. We have to get more than two figures next year, and even SQEX/Konami must realize it would be excessive to release only Big Boss figures and no one else. lol. Then again.. PAK PW.. who knows.

Considering the timeline is literally a few years from MG1, we MIGHT see remakes but Kojima is so anti-Solid Snake who knows. But he did say he's not finished with him yet, but who knows what that actually means.

Yes! Haha, that's it! It's very Spider-Man like. I've been meaning to replay MGS2 (it's been years since I last played it), so I need to do that soon. That way I can get some more dio ideas for Raiden and Solidus. We really need a MGS2 Solid to come out next year.

I've never had a year without playing MGS1 and 2 at least 3-4 times a year. MGS3 I usually play maybe 2 or 3 times a year, MGS4 maybe once a year. Peace Walker.. eh.

Also, any of you playing MGS2-3 HD should try the letterbox view at least once, it's flawed but it hides the low poly count better.

Haven't played it since I got the Platinum and that's got to be about a year now.

Kojima strikes me as a very calculating person who has a constant end game in mind. I think he knows how he wants things to play out and hasn't changed that in a long time. I really want to believe that he intends to bring Solid back to the forefront in the near future once he finishes with Big Boss' story. Though, I would really love to see him do some games that explore Liquid & Solidus stories too. One thing I do like about what's done is that he's established a continuity with the Big Boss games and I would prefer to see him continue you that and lead back into Solid's story with that in mind.

Who knows though. I really just hope he's like the rest of us and has shifting interests. He's got to get bored of Big Boss eventually and have nostalgia for Solid.. lol.

He's a control freak, and the only one who can point MGS in any direction is himself since he obviously doesn't care what we think of the series. He does like that most gamers prefer games like COD, GTA and Assassin's Creed which is ever apparent in the trailers for MGS V. He's more about selling the Fox Engine to the market than doing some creative writing.

Yeah, at this point he's become pretty.. intense. lol. Gosh, I pray for a major shake up in the gaming industry every day now. I really hope things like Mighty No.9 and other non-major gaming company properties keep coming. We need things to change. I want the demographic to shift back to people like us, who actually care about video games. They're starting to act like the ****ing music industry.

:exactly:

It's not about content, it's just about getting as much profit as possible off the average dumb gamer.

I'm really hopeful that the foreseeable end of the console generation will change things. Then I hope to see a definite split, with PC's becoming the Platform for people like us, and handheld/phone games becoming for the average dumb gamer.

It really is a bitter pill to swallow though, seeing how much Konami and Capcom in particular have changed. At least we still have things like collectibles where it's people like us who have a big influence on what gets made. At least I think as an overall community we do, in the global sense. Why else make MGS1 Solid & Liquid right?

You'd think Konami would learn from Capcom's mistakes but Konami can't even learn from their own with the debacle Silent Hill became. When you though the top of horror gaming you either though Resident Evil and Silent Hill and both are in the gutter.

Yeah, I really can't believe how that happened. Especially since the CGI Resident Evil movies have been pretty good. So you know they can still do good stuff. They just choose not to.

Not to mention the crap that was that HD Zone of Enders collection. I was so hyped for that.. then it came out. I need to check to see if they ever released a patch and fixed it.

I think if things continue Konami & Capcom are in for tough times. Resident 6 didn't go very well, and the whole franchise is about to get shown up by it's creator. It's amazing to think the creator of MGS is actually in control of the franchise, and we're getting what we are. Just imagine if Capcom let people make games the way they intended. Kojima is so ****ing lucky.

What didn't you like about ZOE? I think they patched the framerate issues.

And yeah, it's hard to believe that all the missteps are his own fault. I used to blame Konami for some of the idiotic choices in the series but it seems like he's got a lot of power within Konami, which isn't surprising really.

The framerate issues killed it for me, I never ended up picking it up. If they patched it then it's time for a trip to Amazon. :D

Yeah, that's for sure. Oh well. At this point I've become more concerned with collectibles than anything else. As long as they keep putting out PAK figures I will remain happy. NYCC is just around the corner I really hope we see something new.

Well the Punished Snake looks like it will shape up better than the hideous Sneaking Suit version, they might be showing them off there since Square has a booth.

I like the Sneaking Suit version, lol. That said, I will probably display him with the second head because it's unique and I like that look. Punished Snake looks like it's going to be awesome. He better come with the prosthetic arm.

I really like it myself, I might even buy two. Darn MGS figures.. I always needs doubles. I like the hair too, guess I'm strange, lol. So far I've been pretty pleased with all of the PAK stuff. Though I'm so-so about the PW stuff.

I'm the same way. If they keep this up with MGS I might have to disregard the DC figures, MGS duplicates & FF are taking up all of my PAK budget.

At this point the only other figures they could make from MGSV are Ocelot and Psycho Mantis right? I would much rather get MGS1 versions. So I'm kind of hoping these two figures are it for now for MGSV.

Not certain that's Mantis, but it being a child leads me to think otherwise. But yeah, they would do Ocelot and Quiet but I think Skull Face would be too grotesque for them to release.

Skull Face just seems like a Red Skull ripoff.
