I never worry about bad items because someone will take it back. Sometimes it takes some time and effort or maybe a rebuy/tradeback but it always works eventually. I buy broken stuff online, buy a new one at bestbuy, put the broken one in the new box, and return it as defective. No, i dont exchange because "i dont want to possibly go through this again". Its scummy but the stores deserve it. It helps to get stuff crazy cheap.

We all don't live with our parents and have people to provide for. If we can get something for free or cheap, you should go for it.

Defective equipment gets sent back to the manufacture anyway, and they'll sort out the parts that are usable, and reassemble them into another device.

Well okay maybe I misinterpreted your intention. But even still, I don't judge Jason for whatever he does. Doesn't effect me, or this board. If he was conning someone here I might speak on it. If you've known Jason as long as some of us have, you'd know he's a great guy and has been pointing out great discounted deals on MGS merchandise since he joined.

At the end of the day it still goes back to the manufacturer, it doesn't effect these big corporations.

Thanks, im giving myself and others a partial refund or an extended warrantee that the manufacturer wouldnt provide. I am still paying lets say $150 instead of $300 for the item. In order for me to make out on the deal i initially have to pay $450 to make anything happen. Then after my efforts i get it at $150 and the person on ebay gets their $150 back on something previously deemed worthless that they originally paid $300 on. Not sure how thats shameful. Seems like i helped someone else out and did all the leg work.
