I just wished medicom did more with the liscence, they pusses it away imo. Tiger stripe snake was fantastic!

On the play arts the initial sculpt was great

I love the way you outlined the sequence of those photos . It gets progressively worse from the top picture to the bottom one. Which alludes back to my point, that Play Arts figs look nothing like what you see in the official pics.

It's such a shame about what happened to MGS 1 Snake...

Exactly. If someone were to strip the paint from Solid Snake and prime it, you would get something similar to those pictures. I think IF someone were to take the time to repaint Solid, the only sculptural changes I would make are to the hair. The figure is probably more realistic looking, but I like the hair flared out more on the sides like Shinkawa's art. Aside from that, I think the sculpt is pretty amazing. PAK paint is tricky. I like it when it's good, as it has a certain realism to it with the skin tone, but other times it's less than desirable. lol.

In retrospect, I'd blame Koji more than HT, didn't you notice he was all CG Snake crazy back in 2011/2?

That being said, HT had to fill in the blanks with Snake's mullet which is evident as the CG art never showed the back of his head, hence why we got that awful, awful hair.

If you look at the first pics you can see its bit the same sculpt. They may have changed the older sculpt into the new one by changing the hair and adding way more face wrinkles and making it more gaunt

Yeah but it's for the Vita only, I was hoping it was for the console versions too.

Yeah all that crap for that social game right? I forget what it was. And plus the CG renders for the Legacy Collection. I hate the stylized lesbian mullet on the HT head. I wouldn't mind it so much if it wasn't for that, I can live with the face.

Social Ops? Yeah, they went CG crazy with the HD collection too with that weird looking Raiden/BB art. We've gotten lots of CG MGS characters over the past 2 years that it's perplexing, I don't get the need to constantly re-invent the visual aesthetics of the characters.

Wow! I think all of us should get behind sending photos for the next HT MGS sculpt. But if there's anything I've learned in my life, is that persistence will always come trough.

We just have to deal with it in some way...
I think using acrylic stand is a pretty good way to hide the fact that's he's taller

+ As (I believe that) nobody has mentioned it here are 2 point ashley commented about MGS in his interview

nice pics guys!!! rampagesss, i like the way your mgs/mgs2 posing/setup is. looks really nice. bangkok, i like your acrylic setups. ive been looking on ebay for quite some time on risers and cubes but havent quite pulled the trigger yet.

on another note, i figured out the best led/battery combo for ninjas eye to get the brightest most long lasting results. heres a pic.

on an even further note, i just cancelled both my raidens with bbts. i still kept my 1 liquid and koto ray with them. i found a person in tokyo who will send me a raiden for what they cost at bbts. ill get a second one later on in a couple weeks maybe, this makes my pockets a little fatter for a bit.

aw yeah!!!! thanks to username for the extra parts. i have a mgrr raiden head im currently dismantling to put the red eye in. heres the finished mgrr ninja!!!

just need those stand decals!
