Hey guys, did any of you jump on the Metal Gear Solid V Limited Edition version with the Metallic Play Arts Snake? Apparently Play Asia is sold out and I had set up reminders and it never notified me when pre orders opened

The face was oddly colored normally, though it doesn't look like the 'Zombie Snake' pics and the silencer is not that bent...though his legs are laughable. All of the other joints feel good. There was no serial on his box (where the serial should be, is a very rough scratched out spot implying there was a serial but it just wore off), but beyond that he seems legit. Also if he is a bootleg I'm not too bothered because 1. screw you Square and 2. the face looks better than any official Snake. It seems to be perfectly ok though. The guy who sold him to me, on this forum, says he got it from Taiwan though but I haven't heard much on Taiwan...
also I'm not really doubting Square's ability to screw up so badly after my Catwoman, and some other issues with PAKs like my PW Jungle Fatigues Snake having an arm that fell off, and some things on MGRR Raiden not staying in place...

Nice man! Finally got one. Not sure what you mean about the legs, you'd have to be more specific. He was before they went to the ratcheting hips, same with cyborg ninja. What I do is pop the legs off and put a bump of super glue on each ball. (No pun intended) let it dry and when you snap the legs back on they'll be squeaky tight. You're just adding a little more friction to the joint. Clear nail polish is way too temporary and should be used in joints that don't come apart. Hope that helps.
You fatigues snakes arm fell off? Try submerging the socket in hot water for 30 seconds and pressing the ball in there firmly. Usually SE doesn't take the time to check if everything perfectly seated. It happend to my solid snake and my second solidus. They're totally fine now.

They don't feel that stable, but people have told me in general his balance sucks and another friend told me his feels loose on the legs too. But that is interesting on the ratcheting joints, I didn't know that. I used super glue once on my Ezio and the results are as you said, so I may try that.
And yeah, for Jungle Fatigues Snake, the arm (elbow really) fell off, I may fix it but I'm not sure cause the arms are a pain to move and this made it easier to pose. Not sure. I need to post my MGS Collection sometime though, might be today or tomorrow

I still dont belive a bootleg of this exist.. cause if thats the case we should have seen lots of bootleg copies on our local shops... heck! even the zombie snakes are hard to spot nowdays..maybe this was just repainted from a HS with bad QA issues (Zombie snake)
