I'm honored and humbled by Kojima's shout out and we could only hope it will bring out some good, like Kojima finally giving the rights to the figures to a company that actually respects the source material, like how John from IDM said he loved the MGS2 Snake the most, hence why he's doing his best to make the figure to actually resemble him.

I'm dying for game-accurate 1/6 MGS figures, so far only Medicom came close.

Been looking at my kotobukiya Rex model next to my 3A rex and decided it needed a change heres the only picture I could find of how it looked



You can see it look to new for me, so decided to to weather it and make it look more like the 3A rex. So I bought some Tamiya weathering master packs with rust, oil, Gum metal and silver and turned it into this











So much happier with it now, no longer looks brand new, looks like it been used and matches the 3A Rex much better now

The Head sculpt is MGS4 Big Boss.

There's a complete mgs4 big boss on eBay right now he's holding a rifle and the white flowers from mgs 4 if I had the loot I'd bid on it. Its starting at about 150ish I think??? Just type metal gear figure and its around some of the first few listings. Check it out.

That's why I'm doing the head now and the jacket later. Don't wanna drop loads of money at once, once the heads done i can take time on the jacket and offer it when peoples have got money. I;m sure nobody can keep dropping money on full custom figures at once, i cant

Eventually that's the way I want go. In a year or so (or when funds permit) I'll commission a MGS4 Snake without the bandana, solid eye and with the burns. Probs put him in a suit like at the end too.

hopefully HT with do the MGS4 Snake in the octosuit and Raiden. That'd be me and MGS4 done in terms of 1/6
