Nothing at all, in fact I'm to blame here for starting it as a passing mention to to the state of the MGSV boards and how much of a safe haven it is here. Apologies to everyone for the minor derail.

Anyways, I have Spring Break next week, so I finally have time to assemble and paint my Koto REX kit. I'll still have to figure out what kind of paint scheme I want, though.

Yeah well if I made such a comment on that thread you know how pig headed the trolls are.

As for the Koto Rex, you'll definitely need it to be mostly sprayed. Only the small parts need hand painting.

I've been planning to use Gundam Markers on the smaller pieces . I'll definitely have to order a set of Testor paints, though.

Though I would imagine if you've found your way onto SSF and signed up, one would have to imagine the collecting is already at a point the individual would consider themselves serious collectors.

Otherwise why sign up? Primarily to a toy collecting forum

I should remember to pre-order that black rex. Doesn't really matter what color it is, since I paint it anyways. Actually grey or white over black can give a nice pre-shading when done with airbrush or spray.

Yeah, I figured that the black version of Koto REX would be much easier to paint than the first model. I have it on pre-order, as it looks like a pretty unique variant; sort of like a "Desperado" version of REX for MG Rising (if such a thing ever existed).

i thought we talked about this. im waiting on a 1/6 solid snake head and old snake head as well as a pak solid snake head from amnur. i also ordered a body for my solid snake custom. we discussed this and you were showin me your cut up reeve body. seeing old snake in scrubs made me think that the body i chose was correct. i think the reeve body is too muscular.
