I get why Acid isn't in the legacy collection but the others really should be. Konami clearly got their money back with the legacy collection so we will likely see on on PS4 and Twin Snakes only sold poorly because the GameCube did. If a remake came to PS and Xbox it would sell likely better than the sequel installments.

Honestly i would love a HD remaster like the new Abes Odessy. Everything exactly the same, just improved graphics. With the option of original voices and graphics like the Halo HD remaster if they really wanna go beyond the bounds

Because Konami added only the games that was directed by Kojima. Thats why Portable Ops wasn't in there as well. Non-cannon games was not added.

Portable Ops is cannon they show all the cannon games at the end of MGS4 and PO is shown.

:lecture

It's stunning to think that MPO, which directly influences Big Boss's life is non canon, while PW is considered canon but effects the story in a pretty small degree (MSF, Big Boss moving on finally from the Boss's death) You can basically removed all of PW's story outside of those two facts and it won't change it's impact on the story.

Where are you guys getting that its not cannon?

Kojima confirmed it last month, just some things within it he doesn’t consider cannon.

Making him a super soldier as a child was such a cop out, and lazy writing. He should of just been just a killer turned mercenary, giving him the Gray Fox angle in the 70s was a mistake.

Yup, it almost ruined the whole game for me, I pray that part isn’t cannon

If Frank Yeager gets no appearance in this game, it's an outright blunder by Kojima. It would make no sense in MG1 that he's Big Boss's "most trusted Lieutenant."

Which is why I’m almost certain he will. Kojima said in an interview there will be a few people from past games showing up, but he didn’t want to spoil it for the fans.

Now I feel lonely for enjoying PW's story :monkey3

Admittedly my liking for it has more to do with Strangelove as a character and the expansion of The Boss's history, coupled with the whole Peace Walker A.I. concept (I'm a sucker for A.I.-related stories). That said, Hot Coldman just was all kinds over-the-top, and not even the enjoyable sort of way...

I like it a lot also, but I enjoyed PO a little bit more.

But the Peace Walker listened to it's heart.....awwww. No matter how torment Solid Snake goes through, he can at least take some comfort that he was cloned from the Emmerich family. I was so glad when I saw to be continued in Chapter 5: Outer Heaven. I loved Big Boss's speech at the end.
