No, Shinkawa never made comics as he admitted he has no patience for it.

Have you seen the Digital Graphic Novels on the Legacy Collection? It's remade into a movie and comes (for the first time) with English voices by mostly te original cast. :yess:

That sucks, a comic or manga by him would sell like hot bread.

Yeah I have, they're the same as the comic, just animated and dubbed.

Tbh I don't quite like the format of animated comics to begin with :lol and in the MGS DGNs Snake's voice is the same was PW's which I don't quite like, seems out of place, it would have been better if they modified Snake's speech bubbles with the game's dialogue into the animated graphic novel to use the original voice, also Gray Fox sounds sooooo bad imo, the only game I like Gray Fox's voice is in MGS1, I don't think Twin Snakes did a good job on some of the voice performances (including GF's) either, it was like the magic from MGS1 performances was lost.

I bought the MGS comics with Ashley Wood's art, I've never read them before, they're pretty good, and the art is exquisite.

I know Ash's work isn't for everyone, but it clicks with me just fine.

Has Shinkawa ever done anything that isn't concept art?

If he made an MGS comicbook or manga I'd die.

My main gripe is the writing is terrible! Snake wouldn't say those thing he does in the comic

The art is gorgeous at some points. Ashley's ambiguous art style really lends itself to MetalGear. Its very atmospheric

I wish there was a Metal Gear manga period. Loved the one in MGS2s manual - shame it wasn't in the HD collection

David Hayter narrates the intro to this new music video:

Haha that's awesome! I wonder how he got that gig. Also his narration is very well done here

I never liked the Ashley wood artwork thought it was pretty poor and didn't gel well with anything else.

That why I never bought them but I read a few and they were garbage so it was an even easier decision

And that's just his MGS work... he sure loves painting girls with dripping yeast infections.

FINALLY did a no-kill run of MGS3.

Worth it? Probably not, but goddamn I feel accomplished.

It's how the game is supposed to be played!

Feel proud, it's a much more fulfilling experience than going in Rambo style

Obviously it's a super cool feat, a few spots were a little sketchy and I didn't want to take a chance so I'd revert and that got kind of tedious. Knocked some guys off ledges, lots of accidents.

I honestly feel guilty killing enemies since it eliminates the challenge. I did a ghost run not too long ago after studying some runs on Youtube. How some of these guys know enemy head placement at specific times is beyond me, they must study it like a science.

Sneaking out of Groznjy Grad on a Ghost Run was REALLY difficult.

I still don't get why Boss can't use cqc during the escape, especially since he uses the fork like a knife >.>

:lol Big Boss and Raiden teaming up would be the end of the world clearly

I would kill to play MGS 3 in those visuals :drool
