son of a gun...it was me and 2 other people and the walmart folk had no idea what we were talking about so after an hour wait they bring them out. man. too late to play it now.

does anyone have an answer to this, if you buy a ps3 and get the $100 gift card and take back the system what do they do about the giftcard?

Picked up my copy from GameStop (where they tried to sell me a dozen other items) and put the game in, but it's installing an update. It's 12:35 now and I...want...to...play!

MGS4 HAS LANDED !!

well guys there was about 10 people at walmart here for the midnight release.
Once they gave the go to sell the game this 2 ladies came out with to carts with huge boxes.
the bigger boxes contain the 80gig bundles that sold out like HOT CAKES !!
I picked up the MGS4 regular.
The only disapointment was that WALMART dint let me film inside the store while i was getting the game
OHH well I took fottage outside going in and Out after I got the game.
Is 5am righ now. I will pickup the LIMITED EDITION at 10am once they open there doors. i HOPE they let me film.

AFTER PLAYING FOR ONLY 10 MINUTES !! all I got to say is that MGS4 is the best looking game I have ever seen PERIOD.
I have stoped playing and I will resume play ALL DAY TODAY !! after I get my LE from EBGAMES.

I hope you guys enjoy the game BECAUSE I was blown away with the first 10 munutes of it.

dude I played for only 10 minutes and I am telling THE BEST GRAPHICS I HAVE EVER SEEN IN A GAME !!

I played for about 30 mins last night and all I could tell was a rumble feature.

yeah i believe that's all. it still does the motion thing too and seemed a little heavier to me but that's it.

Cool! I thought I read somewhere that the feature would work as an alert system letting you know about special items or something. Anything on this? If it is just rumble when I shoot or at cutscenes then I definately don't need it.

Right there with you Moon. If that is all it does then I can wait to get one. Speaking of waiting, i was going to try and rush out today and get a copy but it doesn't seem like there is a high demand for this game. Not saying it isn't a good game, but it doesn't seem like there are the lines there were for GTA4 or Halo 3.

I wouldn't say that. People were all over the place waiting to get this at midnight. I reserved my copy with Satan and my wife is picking it up at lunch. I wanted the special edition with the free dvd.
